Stopped to pay respect to the soldier's who fought & died in both WW1 & WW11 after a visit the the Fort Des Dunes. The larger section is for the French soldiers and have beautiful plants and flowers blooming. There are graves of German and Commonwealth soldiers also. Worth a visit, can catch the free bus 20 from Fort Des Dunes and get out at Ferme Nord, it worked well for our trip.

Stopped on 11 november as did not get to ypres. Paid respects as probably very few people went on the day. Plenty would have been at ypres. Well kept ground no vandalism. Graves of many nationalities and religions. Did they die in vain. Make your own minds up.

I always stop at these cemeteries, this is another well kept place with a mix of German, French and Commonwealth soldiers at rest together. Well worth a look

Tidy cemetery worth a visit
Aug 2017 • Family
We were staying in the area and stopped by to visit. The original part is a cemetery for allied soldiers of WWI. The larger part is for French soldiers. WWI & WWII. There is even a few German soldiers buried here. Very well kept. The French soldiers have lovely flowers and plants on the graves. There is also a mature cherry tree and plum tree. Great to pay respects but also lots of room for little kids to run.
