Short distance outside Chiang Khan, easy drive to the tuk tuks that take you up the hill. All new SUVs so no lumps or bumps on the way up or down. Small fee, see this as a local tax, however the service was very good...More

It is a must do if you are in Isaan in the winter time this place is busy on the weekends 5:30 to 6am is the best time to go up the mountain .

Amazing views of the sunset...Songtels to the top 25Bt , plenty of paces in the village to eat. and drink BUT visit MON - THURSDAY if you can as very crowded at th etop .

Breathtaking view at the summit. Park at the base of the mountain and take a pick up for 25baht (return) to the summit. At the summit take a 360 panoramic short stroll to view the picturesque Loei mountain range and fields.

Hi, No they do not have over night stay arrangement at Phu Thog. You have to stay at Chiang Khan and it is very near from there.
