Rudrasagar tank and temples were built in the late 18th Century by Ahom King Lakshmi Singha. The king dedicated the tank and temple to his father King Rudra Singha. The tank is a very large tank. A Shiva temple is located on the bank of the lake. The complex provides a very serene environment. Very peaceful and calm.

Rudrasagar is another lake built by a Ahom ruler dedicating it to his father Rudra Singha. The lake is about 8 Kilometres from Sibsagar town. There is a Shiva temple on the bank of the lake. Worth a one time visit to seek Darshan in the Shiva temple and enjoy few moments of solitude on the bank of the lake.

We visited it in the evening and spent quality time walking around it and enjoying the... More

One architectural museum is also there beside the tank. The temple complex and the tank are centrally located in the city and are very well... More
