I will point out we didn’t do the actual cable ride- we walked up to the stop at the top. Views not that good. Do yourself a favour and walk up to the Cristo de raya instead on the other side- the views are better and the man up there is super friendly

The newer tourist cable car is still broken, but this original remains a must see. The views from the top are quite beautiful. Don't forget to try the eempanadas. An order is only 1000 pesos, and comes with four bite sized pieces of yumminess!

This is unlike any other cable car you will have seen! Very rustic little wooden box on a cable. The trip to the top takes only a few minutes and costs 4,000 pesos, you can then enjoy a drink with a view in the cafe at the top, before getting the car back down or walking down through the valley - a very pleasant and scenic walk that takes around 1hr.

Fun thing to do in Jardin. Very cheap also (7,000 pesos return). There’s a cafe at the top selling food and drinks. Gives a great view over the city!

The actual ‘car’ has been updated (original up top for pics), but still a bit creeky and you do not want, nor should you make any sudden movements whilst in it. Sometimes, they make you wait for others to call the car.

It'll get you to the other side of the ravine for a reasonable price. It's ridiculous to have a minimum number of characters. Please discontinue this requirement.

This funny looking cable car is kind of cool to try. You can take it to go up and walk back through a dirt road and visit the ‘Cascadas del Amor’ or walk up and take it to go down. It takes only a few minutes and the walk is easily done in an hour. At the top, you can enjoy the view while having a drink.

I highly recommend checking out la Garrucha when visiting Jardin, Colombia. The price to go and return is super cheap, and the views of the city, mountains and valley below are incredible! Even more, you can eat some really great food at the top while enjoying the view, and the owner of the place is so kind and welcoming!

It doesn't take long, but its a nice experience. The view from the restaurant at the top is also very nice.
The last ride back was at 6pm
