When arriving to Free Spirit Center on Murter Island you will be able to do a wide variety of activities. Learn sailing with our Seascape sailing boats or let us take you on adventure you will never forget. For the time staying at our hostel we can also offer you a peaceful SUP ride through national park. Or jump on a bike and get to know Murter Island. It will literally take your breath away.

Never heard of Jezera, Croatia? Neither had we until our our Friend from Denmark invited us to meet him there while trying out his brand new Seascape sailboat. We met at FreeSpirit Sailing School where Ivan, Lovely Marina, Anna, and Anna helped us to assemble the sailboat and launch it for the first time. They soon became our friends and our week of sailing, food and fun began. When we weren't sleeping on the boat, we were sleeping in the bunk room of the school. Our accommodations were comfortable and clean. What a friendly town. After spending one day here you felt you were one of the locals. They were all very inviting and friendly. Since we were here in April, low season, much preparation for the upcoming high season was happening. Seeing the town before all the tourist arrived was a treat. We are already planning our trip back.

We took sailing day trip from Jezera (Murter) to island Kaprije. Trip was really nice. On the island Kaprije we visited restaurant Konoba Kunjka, with finest selection of fresh fish and lovely donkey Mia. We took kids (4 and 6y) on the trip and they love it. Skippers Mark and Tilen were awesome. They really know how to sail and they really take good care of our kids. I strongly recommend to visit Free spirit and check what they offer. Thanks again Free Spirit team 😉

We are here for the 3rd time, that says a lot but at the same time not enough. Last year we came the first time with 11 and 8 year old kids.
Let me tell you that 18years ago i had the worst sailing experience ever and I though I will not give it a second chance. Last year my husband convinced me to try with short course. In the morning some theory, than sailing and swimming. Kids also loved it and older one also learnt a lot. We had the best instructor Ivan. He was calm and fun. This year we had second course with funny Gaz and in the fall we came here for nice weekend. Just to enjoy sailing with Seascape and freespirit team. One day we enjoyed with Barbara and Ana and one day on our own. I am sure we will come back again. ⛵️🙂

We, a family of six, like watersports. Some sailing, some supping. We booked it with free spirit. On the initial day the wind was too strong and we were very well and timely informed so we booked for another day. The kept us informed of the weather conditions and in the end we could go. The service was excellent and the people and instructors were very nice. Excellent experience!

The area around Jezera is a sailing paradise, with countless beaches and coves you can reach within a couple of hours of Jezera. The water is beautiful, clean and warm, and the boats FreeSpirit Sailing uses are perfect to learn sailing for beginners and to have loads of fun for those who already know how to sail.
Ivan, Barbara and the awesome team running FreeSpirit Sailing are just the coolest people I've ever met! Relaxed, super knowledgeable, responsible (they'll take good care of you!) and tons of fun. And yes, we're going back this year for our holidays again - can't wait!! :)
Jezera itself is a beautiful little fishing town, with lovely restaurants and parties for those who still have energy after all the sailing. We're pairing our trip with a musich festival in Tisno this year!
Can't recommend it enough. Simply the coolest holidays ever!!

FreeSpirit Sailing, thank you for the great sailing experience! Professional team with lots of experience, warm and smiling all the time, amazing Seascape 18, beautiful Murter archipelago, enjoying life&sailing, and a lot of fun and smiling!
I recommend Chasing Kornati adventure to all who want to experience something special: sailing on Seascape 18, beautiful Kornati National park, professional team/instructor, Robinzon style Kornati Sailing Base, Dalmatian delicious food and some Dalmatians songs, joy, a lot of smile and meeting new people.
Unforgettable adventure - free your spirit, for sure :-)

It was an amazing trip! Our hosts Ivan and Barbara and the whole team were so hospitable and helpful. After one day we didn't feel like guests but like family members. And even though we weren't pros on the sailing boat the crash course helped a lot and made the cruise an unforgettable experience.
Thanks a lot to the whole team. We definitely come back in future!

I went for the chasing kornati experience.
Arriving in jezera, i absolutely loved the free spirit hostel. A very cool and relaxed place,where you feel immediately at home. We' ve got a big hug from owners Ivan and Barbara, and Marina is the stunning sunshine of the center.
We ' ve sailed the seascape 24, which is al very sporty boat, with a big sense of speed and interaction. Sailing the gennaker is a delight.
We sailed to the Risanka base in Kornati. A stunning place, total peace, great, i mean GREAT food.
I really enjoyed every minute of my stay in Jezera and Kornati.
such a great place, such warm and welcoming people, great sailing sensations on the seacape boats, and lots of tips and tricks of very experienced sailor Ivan.
Can't wait to go back.

Our instructor Ivan was highly recommended, so we decided to take the sailing course at Freespirit.
Everything was perfect - the course, organisation. Marina and Ivan make a perfect team.
If you want to learn sailing the perfect sport sailing boats, Freespirit is the place to go.
