Highest Go Ape in the country plus NEW Forest Segways It's so high you can see all the way to Scotland. Enjoy a Tree Top Adventure with us in our beautiful forest, riding zip slides through skies, over water and in England's only true mountain forest. We're sure you'll love the spectacular views of the Lake District. Swinging through the canopy, wiping out at the bottom of zip wires and going on an adventure brings people together like nothing else we've ever seen. It really does. We'll brief you for safety before you fly down our zip-wires, leap off our Tarzan Swing and tackle our crossings whilst enjoying some of Britain's most breathtaking scenery. And you can get off road and enjoy our epic forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an awesome segway experience in the Lakes with a down to earth twist. A great idea for a day out in the North Lakes (and home to Bassenthwaite ospreys), this is Go Ape at its most untamed.

Having done the Go Ape aerial canopy thing before, which is brilliant we decided to go on the Segway's. These are serious fun, you gonna get a bruise but it's worth it. Not as easy as it first looks but you soon get the hang of it. The off road course is great fun, go as a group and challenge... More

My husband had booked us a hot-air balloon ride to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary, however the weather conditions were not right, so I suggested this (silly, silly me) I started to get anxious, even though heights don't bother me at all, it's things that move n wobble! However I was determined to give it a go. A guy called... More

Took 3 teenage boys here and they loved it! Great test of skill and agility in lovely setting takes 2-3 hours to complete. Knowledgeable staff at centre and outstanding customer service from go ape team sadly someone was taken I'll during our visit& they had to close. We were given vouchers for another visit.

The staff here are what made it for us. They were very welcoming and looked after our puppy for us as we obviously couldn't take him with us. All very chatty as we went around the course which is great fun, quite high in places and the hard sections are really fun and worthwhile to do. Still couldn't get the... More

great and friendly staff, very thorough with explanations of how to use your safety equipment. really enjoyed the tree top adventure, and being terrified of heights, made me feel like i had conquered some of that fear by the end. the tarzan swing into the net was probably the part that i found the worst to do. great time, would... I am aged 67 and received the Tree Top Adventure as a birthday present! I was apprehensive, but attended with my sons. After comprehensive tuition ( thanks Sam), I started the course and surprised myself, coping with the crossings ( took the lesser option where possible) and quite enjoyed the zip lines, despite ending on my back in the bark... Never tried Segway before so decided to give it a go from the Go-Ape people; the experience lasts about 1 hour and was a great hour of fun up and down the forest tracks with some great views, even in the rain. Having heard before that the Segways are difficult to ride, we were very surprised on just how easy... More

Set in a beautiful area. Arrived without booking and managed to book on to the 2:30 slot. Our instructor Andrew took us through the Health & Safety brief as was very professional and amusing. Then on to the ropes. Some crossings were very challenging and one rope swing required assistance. Finished about 5:00 and received our certificates of achievement. Great... More

We used the car park for a small charge and had a lovely walk around, you don't need to use the Go Ape facilities. There are a lot of park facilities for children and also play activities to interest teenagers too. Our group enjoyed following the trails, the younger members of the group enjoyed following "The Gruffalo Trail" A lot... More
