Jebudo island! it is definitely one of my favourite islands in Korea now. when people visit Korea they wanted to visit Jeju Island. I would recommend them to visit Jebudo as well the island is so magical that you can see roads going under the sea during the high tide. Also, the place has filled with amazing restaurants and cafes and there are plenty of gambling places as well. It is a must visit in Gyeonggi-do province the place is gaining popularity among Koreans and Internationals

This area has so much to offer. Nice beach camping, beatiful cafes with sea view, nice restaurants, and well, its own innate magic that you start feeling once you cross that road that disappears under the water.

Such a nice area to go with friends!

The road between Hwaseong city and Jebudo island is just like 'Moses parted the sea'. During the ebb tide period, the road and mudflats appear. When it's a flood tide, roads and mudflats are submerged, and you may see the signs over the sea.

The day I visited Jebudo was three days after the full moon, and the traffic hours on the road were 09:07~16:56 and 20:29~ 04:52. We entered the Jebudo island after 3 p.m. and left the island after 10 a.m. on the next day.

At the beginning of the road, there is an observatory deck called Water Walk, allowing visitors to stop by and have a look before entering. I loved the view so much even the sunlight was strong LOL

Such a beautiful island! I feel like Jebudo is really underrated for what it has to offer. It is quite popular among Koreans these days, but many foreigners do not even know about it. There are many camping or glamping resorts, leisure pensions, beautiful beaches, a cable car, a few art spaces, nice local restaurants, a small amusement park, and even a cable car! So much for this tiny island I was really pleasantly surprised!

Amazing beach atmosphere! I loved this island so much- it’s truly a hidden gem in Korea and the perfect place for a weekend getaway from Seoul. There are plenty of nice pensions, beaches, and attractions to enjoy. Will definitely be coming back again!

The tides here are different every day. That's why it's so cool and new.
I recommend it to all couples, families, and friends. Any season can go. But it's windy, so be careful! Can feed seagulls. You can see mudflats and sandy beaches. Eat seafood and grill meat! People living in the Seoul metropolitan area or planning to travel are perfect for a two-day trip.

Surrounded by mudflat, very cold and chilly winter experience during our tour. But very nice view. I saw some seagulls defying the harsh cold weather... Must try clam noodle soup on restaurant nearby.

Be sure to check the high tide timings before planing a trip here.. The way to Jebudo gets below sea level during high tide and the road is closed. you can witness this wonderful sea-parting if you are there at the right time.
A nice place to relax with great seafood restaurants. Beach is not so clean.

Jebudo - both the island and the town - are great for scenery and eating seafood. Just be sure what you are ordering, as you may end up with a surprise, where you think you are ordering fish stew and end up getting octopus and crab stew instead.
Both are tasty, but if you wanted fish, you're expecting fish...
Another surprise is the pottery shop, where many unexpected souvenirs lie in wait at very reasonable prices.
Be sure to visit the cafe in the ship perched on top of the hill for some great coffee and a spectacular view.
Easily within reach of Suwon, this is a little jewel.

Nice small island with beach and many restaurants. We enjoyed seafood in one of them. There is only one way to/from island which is closed regularly. Be careful of it.
