Aquafield Goyang is one of the cleanest, most modern jjimjilbangs in Seoul. It is about a 50 minute bus ride from Seoul station and is part of the Starfield Goyang mall which houses so many different things to do. The jjimjilbang itself is huge, and has different sections with an exclusive play area for kids. There are three different hot pools with massage jets to lounge in and one sauna in the women’s area, but there are so many different healing rooms in the co-ed area. The restaurant is huge with massive windows which peer out onto the cityscape with a backdrop of the gorgeous Bukhansan Mountains. The outdoor footspa has a wonderful view as well. There are various rooms of different temperatures such as the healing cypress room, the charcoal and the media room! There is also a massage spa that offers various types of massages for different prices and they often have sale events on specific types of massages. This spa is a little fancier than most and they even have a rooftop pool available in summer! I will definitely go back!

You could easily spends hours at this place! We only had 2 hours and it flew by. To use the spa bath no clothes can be worn and women and men have their own seperate areas. The sauna rooms are for all and you are given special clothing to wear (cotton shorts and t-shirts). There were about 8 different saunas ranging from 25-80 degrees and each one with a theme - Himalayan salt walls, clay, charcoal and more. The place is beautiful and relaxing. It is very easy to fall asleep (many did!)
Unfortunately the rooftop pool was not open when we were there but it looked very nice in the photos.

Aquafield is a great way to spend a day in greater Seoul and an excellent value for six hours worth of relaxation.

This place is amazingly clean, lots of rooms at all different temperatures so move around and find what suits you.

It's great for families with you children, couples or solo to get a way from it all.

A few tips: tucked away on the left hand side before you reach the snack bar is an adult's only relaxation room. Basically recliner chairs with TV and speakers in the headrest. Nice and relaxing if you want a break from th spa rooms. I also recommend the black massage chairs after coming out of one of the big hot dome rooms.

Lastly don't forget to bring your own snacks and beer. You just can't drink your own beer in the restaurant, but anywhere else in the common areas you're good.

I've been to several spa/jjimjilbang/onsen places in Korea, Japan and Taiwan and this is the best so far! The facilities are beautiful and top class (as it had only been open for a few months when I went) and very clean. It costs a bit more than some other places (about W20,000), and it's further from the city centre of Seoul but it's worth it.

There are large baths for bathing, with electronic wristbands used for lockers and payment at the cafe and vending machines. The shampoos and body wash are also top quality. The sauna area was big with features like an aromatherapy sauna, one with light projections on the ceiling, and an outdoor foot spa on the balcony with complimentary jackets to wear when it's cold. I didn't get to try the restaurant inside but it looked very nice too.

There were lots of people there (especially families with young children) but it never felt too crowded or stressful, and I left very relaxed. It's an easy 5 min walk from Samsong station on the orange Line 3 to the Stafield mall where the spa is. Highly recommended.

Relaxing and invigorating after long flight. Enjoyable experience so much to offer to relax and stimulate the senses. Hot baths require nakedness you nee to leave hang ups at door. But other sensory rooms are unisex no nudity, just enjoy. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all on offer.

First of all, it's not far from Seoul about an hour by public transportation and even by taxi it costs about 15,000~20,000Won 30 minutes ride. You can go with your friends and share the taxi fee.

Second, we took Jimjilbang+Rooftop and costs 42,000Won for adults & 34,000Won for children. But, if you buy it online you can get 20% discounts, so paid only 31,000Won each.

Third, all the facilities and toiltries are provided, you don't need to bring shampoo, rinse, shower gel and others. Just, don't forget to bring your swimming suit, because swimming suits required strictly to go up to rooftop swimming pool. But, if you forgot it like I did, you can easily buy it in the Starfield shopping malls.

Besides, I there were Clouds room, salt room and many rooms with different temperature in Jimjilbang. I've been to other saunas in Korea as well, but Aquafield was one of the best. So, if you are planning to visit Jimjilbang you should visit Starfield at Goyang. We spent 2-3 hours relaxing in sauna, then went up to 5th floor rooftop swimming pool with stunning view. There are two swimming pools for adults and one for children. If, you want more fun you can also visit SportMonster on the 3rd floor. The entrance fee is 25,000Won and there are many indoor activities inside. From easy to extreme sports such as: darts, arrows, indoor mountaineering, jumping, zip-lining, slides and many more. Also, in the Starfields there are many options to eat so you don't need to leave the place.

P.S. I will visit here once more for definite:)) Best place to rest from chaotic life of big cities.

Located in the huge Starfield Mall, Aquafield offers inexpensive admission fee (Won 22,000) for 6 hours use. The place is spacious and modern and was great for resting and relaxing. Recommended to visit especially after landing from a red eye flight like us!
