Great visit if you like model ships. They are all hand made and some take moths to complete. They are all built to scale and one person has resonsability for each model and ensuring they are perfect in every detail. They can made models to order but they are quite expensive due to all the work involved. Very interesting visit and worth a hour or so of your time

This place is a factory creating hand-made pieces for museums and private collections. Some of these models have taken 6 months to manufacture, the detail is absolutely incredible. Not the easiest place to find, but well worth a visit. The quality of the models is beyond words. Go there and see how they are made with incredible patience and dexterity.

Wonderful place to watch how ship models are built by hand and to scale - if you have a photpo of your ship (and a plan) they can even build that customized. Very interesting to see handicraft in its perfection done by enthusiast. All models on display are on sale. The HMS Victory, the Titanic, .... and many more.,

My first impression was "not another factory". How wrong I was. This is a really fascinating factory to visit - not at all what I was expecting. You w can wander at will among the small number of expert model makers, and ask whatever you want. The amount of detail that goes into making the ships has to be seen to be believed! There is absolutely to pressure to buy anything. In fact the mention of buying anything did not even exist. In all, a very well worthwhile visit. Don't miss it!

We visited this company 14 years ago and were knocked out by the amazing quality of the workmanship. Returning to Mauritius this February, we renewed our acquaintanceship by asking if it would be possible to have a model made of a ship on which my great grandfather was an officer in the mid1850's. Having found a couple of oil paintings on line and also the vessels vital statistics, we agreed a price and off they set to build my model. It arrived last week and it is stunning! The attention to detail is superb. They had never built a model of "Castle Huntly" before but the result is a testament to the skills of the company's model makers.
