Best Korean Market I have been
Dec 2017 • Friends
The Jeongseon Market is the best Korean Market that I have ever set foot in. I've been to 4 markets and this has been the best among the rest. It is complete with fashionable clothing, fresh seafood, delicious food, and my favorite, cute socks. The people are very kind and they can converse well in English so the language is not a hindrance to having fun in the market. A place for all ages.

Jeongseon is so rich in culture and tradition! During my visit in the 5-day market, I was so impressed by the overall activity and food that the market had to offer! I had the opportunity to watch the Arirang cultural festival where people performed traditional songs and dances. In addition many foreigners also had the opportunity to experience traditional games and activities within the market. The food was also great! We had this Korean pancake with ingredients that were only available and grown within the area. It was such a pleasant experience!

This market provides all the traditional things including handicrafts, traditional medicines and unprecedented taste of food. Besides, a small open air theater is ready for spreading their culture.

Jeongseon number one!
Dec 2017 • Family
This market by far was the best market i visited in all of South Korea. There were so many activities to do and so many sights to see. The market itself was decently sized with many store fronts selling all kinds of traditional foods and herbs. The best part about this market is the many activities that are around the area. Zip lining, rail biking were the two main attractions that are easily accessible to any adventure seekers.

Lovely Arirang Market
Dec 2017 • Business
The Market was lively when I went there. There was loud music playing in the market! Can you believe that? I even got to experience their traditional calligraphy and doodle. Although it was a bit expensive to try this for 5000 won, I think it was worth it. There is an event hall in the center of the market wherein I got to try their traditional game of shooting an arrow-like to the big bamboo tube. I was amused but I got frustrated of not being able to shoot to the tube even once. I was playing for a solid 20 minutes before my friends dragged me to go explore the market more and to try other foods. Hotteok is sold everywhere in Korea but the one this market caught my eye. It was a honey flavored one. And it tastes palatable! I had never seen any honey flavored across Korea except in this market. This is definitely a must try food in this market. It is also cheap. The market is clean and well-organized. But it will be kind of difficult if you don't know basic Korean particularly asking for the price and knowing the price itself. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience here.

Exciting market tour with exciting zipline, skywalk and railbike adventure
Dec 2017 • Business
A day full of adventure, excitement and surprises! The amazing beauty of Korean culture is well displayed even within the market itself. Our trip didn't just highlight the market but also the tourist attraction and breathtaking activities nearby the traditional market in Jeongseon area. Never miss the chance of experiencing yourself to something beyond your fear, something worth trying to and something memorable which are the mini skywalk, zipline and the railbike. I tried it on winter season so it was something different compared to my experience in my country.
