An excellent day excursion. One direction on a speed boat and the return on a catamaran or vice versa. Stop on the island for a couple of hours with a nice lunch. You also stop on a sand bank in the middle of the sea where you can get off the boat and walk around with your drink in hand... More

We booked the TUI excursion for a little extra so we were with a smaller group. Coming off the coach there are a lot of sellers. Just say no thanks! The snorkeling was fabulous. Seeing the tropical fish in the corals. Took a speedboat to the starfish where we had run, snacks and music. Then got off for around 40... More

Our trip included a "submarine" ride in the bay, snorkeling, speedboat rides, swimming at beach with starfish, 2 hours on Isla Saona, then catamaran ride back. We had 4 adults and 5 kids ages 8-14 and everyone had a great time. Due to rainy weather at our resort, this was the highlight of the week. Next time I will simplify... More

I was staying at Punta Cana the Excellence and was offered Isla Saona as an excursion. Overall I loved the excursion. We did take bus to go more down south towards the island Then went on a speed boat that took us on a ride on crystal clear water. He told us to get out of the boat that we... More

This island is incredible, I have no words to describe the beauty because you have to see it for yourself. It is very remote and there are a few shops along the beach charging tourist prices for things. Everyone was very friendly, warm and inviting. The water is AMAZING but...it is very rocky! The catamaran was a blast.
