As it was my first time in Caribbean, I was speechless. Like a postcard. We were there few hours and time went too fast. Quite crowded island, but that we did expect. Beautiful turquoise waters, amazing beaches, soft white sand. Speedboat was fun, food was good, sunny day, good atmosphere in the air. Something to remember. Money well spent.

Took the Amstar Saona Adventure VIP tour. 8 hr. trip where you spent the day with dozens of other catamarans snorkeling, hunting for starfish (this is a scam because they were plastic and thrown by guides from boat) and left on the island for 2.5 hours. Served a lobster lunch which although good caused several visitors stomach problems the next... More

Read the long review someone left from 2008... I don't feel like typing it all out but it's spot on. We just did this march 18th 2017 me and my girlfriend 24 years old. It was a huge let down. I recommend the Mini Cooper tour offered by "side by side" 1000% better and they take you to one of... More

Nice but very commercial island. The trip from bayahibe can be as interesting as saona itself. Anyway it is a place you absolutely have to visit. No doubt.

Our group really enjoyed Isla Saona. We did it with a group and we took a bus to the dock and then took a smaller boat to a catamaran. We were on the catamaran for about an hour and then we took a smaller boat to get to the island. the island was very pretty and I would recommend it.

The island of Saona is beautiful. The water is clear and the sands are white. We were there with the Dreams Resort. They had a great selection of food and an amazing dance floor with music. We loved the open bar with our favorite bartender Carlos! And the very helpful Sergio. A great experience!

This place left me speechless, it was not so crowded and the landscape is just like in the postcards. It doesnt get much perfect... Please please respect this gem and leave it as savage as possible.

Good weather on our tour day helped much! Enjoyable catamaran trip to Saona; fun speedboat back to the main DR island. Beautiful beach and terrific view of the Caribbean on Saona. Many shallow swimming areas where the water is rarely deeper than neck level (for average height adult). On-route back to the main island our boat stopped for a swim... More

If you are visiting Punta Cana you must take the Saona Island excursion. Brought out to the island by catamarans, with open ban bar, dancing, sunbathing etc for the 1 hour trip. You arrive to a pristine island for a couple of hours including a BBQ lunch, then off in a speed boat for your return, but first a stop... More
