Paradise

The island is a little bit of paradise! The sand is baby powder fine, white and lots of sea shells. The water is also perfect. I hope they keep this island as is.

We visited Saona as part of a dive trip. This is a truly beautiful island, a real paradise. Our trip started well as we were accompanied by a school of dolphins on our way out. We ate lunch and snorkelled in the fabulous turquoise Caribbean Sea. Photos can't do justice to this paradise island.

We booked the catamaran ride out and speed boat back. Catamaran was fun. I relaxed on the netting and enjoyed the views. My wife relaxed a bit and also danced and partied. There was free run. We landed on the beautiful beach of Saona. Had a nice BBQ lunch. Swam in the warm water. Bought some jewelry (everything is negotiable).... More

Great day. Wee booked through our travel agent Thomson (TUI) Started with a swim in a coral reef then off to star fish beach. Then to the island. It was stunning and we had full lobster, chicken and pork on the BBQ on a stunning area. Drinks flowed all day and had a party on the catamaran on the way... More

We booked our Saona Island excursion through our hotel and Nexus. It is an entire day trip. We were picked up at 8:00 and got back around 6:00. Bus takes about 45 minutes to get to the boat pickup point ...keep in mind you may be picking up other people at different hotel locations which can add to the time... More

I highly recommend this excursion. They picked us up at our hotel in the morning. We took an hour-1.5 hour ride to Bayahibe. From there we went on a Catamaran ride for about two hours. They offered us Brugal & Coca Cola, we danced, and had a great time. We stayed at the island for a few hours. Enjoyed a... More

First i must say we booked this tour with Amstar who had a desk in our hotel. Amstar offer two different excursions to Saaona. The first one is a VIP trip that they claim is less people on bigger boats plus you will get Lobster as part of the beach BBQ. this VIP trip costs $135 each. The other excursion... More

This island is beautiful. We stopped here for lunch and swimming during our catamaran trip snorkeling and to the water pool. The food was delicious. Bartenders and staff were very friendly. They call everyone family. I would highly recommend visiting this island as it is beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer! I always bring a small float with... More

We booked this trip at the hotel for an all day trip. The bus ride was about an hour long and it took you throughout the country side. Once we arrived at our boat we took 2 speed boats to isla which was about 30 mins but before we stopped we went out to a sand bar in the middle... More
