The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is a rehabilitation facility offering injured, orphaned and imprinted wild animals a safe haven; temporarily while they heal or permanently as they are unable to survive on their own.We are extremely proud that 90% of all the animals brought to us for rehabilitation are successfully released back into their native environment. Those that remain with us on exhibit are either too injured or have been imprinted by humans and can not be released back into the wild to care for themselves.

Great zoo. Pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful zoo in the mountains. The exhibits are wonderful. Very educational. You will not be disappointed. Best part they have secured funding and are moving to a new location. Larger, newer. Take time to go.

This is a must see. Go in the late afternoon the animals are active and it makes for fun experience watching the looks on the kids faces when the bears stand up. Can't wait for the new Zoo to open.

This Zoo is just the perfect size. We enjoyed walking around, and watching the handlers clean and feed the animals.

This is now the second generation we have taken to the Moonridge Zoo. Always enjoy looking at the bears, deer and wolves. The new snow leopards were super active to everyone's delight!

not sure of the exact amount. They have the info on their website. They are not cheap. I think around $10 or so.
