Parc Marie-Victorin is an interesting place to visit, with various mosaicultures as well as some metallic and some wooden sculptures of insects. Don't forget to visit the falls; there is a nice patio where you can relax and enjoy the sound of the water flowing. The visit usually takes 2 to 3 hours. The price of entry is a bit expensive, but still worth it. There is a cafe/bistro with a terrace. The food prices are acceptable, and the service is good. We had a grilled three-cheese sandwich (excellent) and a ham panini (good). Also, there is a souvenir shop located at the entry.

Overall, a nice visit and recommended.

Very cool arboretum. Six different themed gardens from those that attracts birds to wetlands. The mosaicultures are really well done and add a point of interest. We spent about an hour wandering around, it was a good stopping point (with a slight detour) on our way from Quebec City to Montreal. The glasshouse was interesting for us - it was full of plants that grow outdoors in our home of Auckland, New Zealand!

We went to the Parc Marie-Victorin to visit an antique fair and were pleasantly surprised to also find this beautiful park. Lovely gardens, great ideas to take home and a lovely cafeteria and gift shop. If you are near this area, this is a great place to stop for a restful visit.

It makes for a perfect leisurely stroll on a nice day. Great variety of flora to see. Amazing mosaicultures. Well worth the detour in my opinion.

We were travelling with friends through the country surrounding Kingsey Falls and made the decision to picnic on the Parc Marie-Victorin site. The tables near the children's amusement park were shaded and much appreciated on this hot day. It was beautifully clean and maintained and our friend enjoyed a little snooze in the hammock after lunch.Along the path there are many places to sit and enjoy the scenery such as the falls or the birds as well as the flower arrangements and the variety of trees and sculptures. The price was a little steep (18$ for adults or 16$ for seniors) but we enjoyed the visit and our time together. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy being alive.

My wife and i drove there just two hours from Montreal nice drive back country roads. The park was easy to find great parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. The grounds were very well kept and the paths and gardens were amazing. The chalet and restaurant were great with ice cold beer and some local brews on tap or bottle. Take your time and enjoy the day the whole thing will take you about 3 hours. But you can take longer if you like there is no rush.

These gardens are created in the memory of the man who created the Montreal Botanical Gardens years ago. They are lovely, with a good playground for little ones who are not interested in flowers, but it is expensive to go! For those that need a rest, there is a cafe which overlooks much of the gardens.

For accessibility for people in wheelchairs, I give it a 5/10. The reason being the gravel pathways make it difficult to self-propel. There is also no warning that going to try and view the waterfalls is a particularly difficult route. In places, it is quite steep. The gardens themselves are amongst the best that I have seen. You can enjoy the different areas without worrying too much about what the names of the plants are. There are few labels. Though, this is a plus. It allows you to take in the grand visions that are before you. Just look at the whole picture and don't worry about the education. For people with children, there is a well-equipped play area. The site does have a restaurant that serves decent food. I did not note the prices so I can't tell you if it is reasonable. Worth a visit. Not difficult to find if you leave Rte 20 at exit 185 - it is well signposted.

While visiting in Levis, Quebec we went to Parc Marie-Victorin and walked the luscious garden path, they said approx 3km. Very well maintained gardens, trees and 3D mosaic sculptures, such as a bush looking like a ladybug , or a bush looking like a gardener. Wear comfortable footwear and bring water to drink. There was also an edible garden area were a host would describe something she had to offer as a sample. We saw different kinds of tomatoes that we never new we had such as a purple tomato. My daughter, 14, who doesn't like tomatoes actually tree and like the yellow tomato, as it is a sweeter type. Only thing we didn't like was the bathroom halfway through the route was closed, so you either have to walk back to main entrance or walk to end to go. Beautiful nonetheless!!

Beautiful location with lots of beautiful gardens. Amazing sculptures made from recycled material and we even saw a hummingbird moth! Perfect for a nice summer day family activity. You can rent audio equipment to walk you through the park and listen to explanations on the building of the various exhibits.
