The Sde Boker area is one of my favorite for mountain biking. The team at Geofun are always ready to assist with good advise, maps, suggeted trails and when needed also to function as the weather man.
The bike store at Midreshet Sde Boker is very conviinet to get alll the biking needs fix last minute issues with the bike and even rent a mountain bike if you need one.
I highly recommned.

I first met the Geofun team a couple of years ago when my mountain bike partner and I signed up to a 3 day desert trip which turned out to be an unforgettable experience and the first of many more. The views of the desert are simply stunning, the tracks are great and the Geofun team do everything they can to ensure the riders can enjoy themselves to the max. Tamir and Yoni are spectacular bikers who really 'live' the desert and know the best trails and single tracks. On top of that they are very knowledgeable about the desert geology and ecology. Generally there is a jeep that carries all the luggage (such a tents) and awaits the riders with food and other refreshments a couple of times a day. After a long day of riding there is nothing like arriving to a camp site with dinner already on the fire and kicking back with a beer. Highly recommended!!

I had a wonderful week taking guided tours in the desert with a small group. Everything was excellent: the bikes, the guides, the program, the trails, what they showed us, the way we were taken care of, the food, the lodging, simply everything.
I have long been looking for guided bike tours in Israel and I am very happy I found Geofun.

Both the shop Geofun as well as our own tour guide Asaf were absolutely marvelous. Our own Mountain bikes were checked and tuned by Alex before our trip which brought us in the middle of the Negev desert. For those wishing to rent the bikes they have plenty! Assaf helped us improve our bike grips and riding skills while giving great background on the Negev and showing us some awesome places. Since we are a more senior aged couple he understood perfectly which tracks to try (and which not) and gave us a perfect day in the dessert. In our case, topsport for seniors :) We will be back to try the Ramon Crater soon

I went on a cycling trip with my 12 year old son. Our guide Tamir made the trip educational, meaningful and physically challenging. We spent two days, one is sde boker and one in mitzpeh ramon. I highly recommend guided desert trek to get some mountain biking in when in Israel.

Nothing spatial, nice organize place.
Did not know enough places around that are not bike related, like a place to ate or sleep. Eventually I found a grate farm named Naot farm, offering both.

I spent a week with Geofun in April. Tamir and Yoni were excellent guides and hosts. Asaf and Sarit helped organize and plan everything including pickup from the train station and excellent hotel accommodation in Mitspe Ramon. The trip was a half mountain biking and half jeep touring around the Negev. This was my second trip with Geofun. My first trip was only a day trip and I had a great time. It was too short and I wanted more so I went back and plan to go a third time in 2014. Check out some of the pictures from my trip in April! I also made a few YouTube videos!

My fiance and I spent 1 week in May riding mountain bikes with Geofun. We had a fantastic time. Sarit and Asaf did a great job helping us prepare for the trip. They had our travel, accommodations, and bikes all ready to go upon arrival. We stayed at the Krivin's GuestHouse in Sde Boker, which was quaint and lovely. Our Geofun guides (Yoni for the first 4 days and then Roman for the last 3 days) were always prepared and ready to go on time. They took us on great trails, providing excellent insight throughout the rides about the history, geology, and culture of the area. One highlight for us was having dinner in an authentic bedoin household. Also, the Mitzpe Ramon crater is not to be missed and our sunrise and sunset rides here were incredible. Everyone at Geofun was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for great rides, excellent guides, and to immerse yourself in the Negev, this is the company to work with.

I got to GEOFUN with few of my friends
We were looking for some new and unique way to explore the beautiful Israeli desert . the decision was to make a riding day.
at early morning we met Jonathan the riding instructor which supplied each one of us bicycles which were in good condition. After adjusting the bicycles off we rode to the desert.
It was an amazing experience: beautiful landscapes, exciting “single” track, the places Jonathan offered to rest where breath taking. And he always had some interesting stories and information about the aria. Jonathan was very professional and gave great riding tips during the trip. Later on we discovered that he had crossed Australia with his bicycles! At the end of the day he took us to a beautiful forest there was waiting for us a tasty and refreshing picnic.
It was a great experience we are looking forward getting back.

A group of 10 of us cycled for a full day in the desert - with Geofun providing us the bikes, guide (Asaf, the owner hself) - and experience. It was magnificent and unforgettable. Asaf was thorough, kind but never babied the riders, got us through difficult riding patches and to amazing vistas - and even made coffee for us at a remote Outpost with view of the Ramon crater and volcanoes beneath us. A must in Israel if you like mountain biking - or if you want to try it (btw: he had in his fleet two bikes with electric "help" Don't discount using them: you might be happy after hour #3!!!)
