First impression is that this beach is a little difficult to access in a car. Do not be put off-it is easy. What a beach and view! Absolutely awesome. We were "winter visitors" and the Atlantic was in full flow. Breathtaking panorama.

Visited here as it's a National Trust beach. The scenery is lovely as is the rocky beach but it can feel like you are skating over large slippery rocks if you want to reach the waves.

Called here today as the sky looked amazing. Car park is free and there are toilets. Waves were crashing down and sunset was great. Worth a visit.

Well worth a visit. It is rocky when the tide has not gone right out and the beach does vary with the amount of sand. No lifeguard but generally safe if you keep away from the left side of the beach.

Had the beach to ourselves, after climbing over all the rocks and pebbles. Sensible footwear is a must! Lovely beach though.

This is a good dramatic spot in a dramatic coast . Its not easy to get there and the road needs a vehicle with clearance . But its worth the effort. These beaches need to be treated with care , there are offshore currents and...More

Great beach but a little difficult to get on to the sand as it is pretty rocky and stoney but worth the effort. A nice mobile cafe there as well which does crepes and drinks etc.

once you get past the initial barrier of stones and pebbles, at the low tide, there are lovely stretches of sand, big stones to climb and explore and rock pools to splash in. it wasn't nearly as busy as nearby Sandymouth. only draw back is...More
