We didn't visit the museum but went on a guided tour which was interesting. The inside don't have any furnitures for visualizing but the guide had great knowledge and could answer all questions. Small groups, max 20, can't pre-book. We bought tickets at 11, went for a coffee and came back at 13. A Friday in September it was very few visitors which suited us well.

The castle is very impressive and gives a good impression of the old times. You can visit all floors and look at the building. Unfortunately there is not much furniture there. But the views from there are very nice.

On a weekend getaway to Osterlin we went back to Glimminghus castle after many years there. Its an incredible piece of architecture and the new visitor’s center for children is a great addition. We love going there and won’t wait between visits as long next time

Well preserved medival castle sort of in the middle of nowhere. Make sure to arrive in time for a guided tour. It is included in the price and makes the visit much more interesting. Our guide tried hard, a bit too hard even, to make the visit fun and educational. As they try to preserve the castle in its original standards that means dark, cold and very steep steps.
