This was a brief surprise stop for us, but I thought the place was really neat! Such a massive stone to have moved! We were here for only about 15 minutes, so if you're looking for something quick to squeeze in, this place is perfect!

This is a large portal tomb which is easily accessible and just outside of the Carlow city center. The walk from the small, free car park is very pleasant and peaceful and surrounded by farmland.

I was blown away by the sheer size of the capstone. No distance from the road and very accessible to all.
