Amazing views

Worth trying it if you are in Beatenberg. The views are outstanding. When returning, rent the bikes to ride all the way down on paved paths. The kids will love it.

Great place for everybody! Easy access by public transports but also a great route for hiking! If you're hiking, plan it as a one day trip and go from Niederhorn to Gummenenalphorn!

This is easily accessible via bus from Thun or Interlaken, or perhaps even better by a boat on Lake Thun, with a stop right at the attraction. A funicular and then bale cars whisk you to the top in good order and the views are magnificent over Lake Thun and towards the mighty mountains and glaciers.

An amazing view over the lake and mountains. Great location for everyone. If you want to hike there are beautiful routes and trails. If you are not much of a hiker, there is a panorama point right next to the restaurant for a relaxed meal and enjoyment of the view. In winter you can ski or sledge down :)

Here you have everything to make you like in a paradise. Very quiet and calm, excelent places to see and ride. If you rent a car you will take much more advantage of the around places. We feel that two days was very little time to benefit of so big environment.

We took the bus to Interlaken and then bus 101 to Beatenberg Station. From there the hiking fun and breathtaking views begin. You need good hiking shoes, layered clothing, rain gear in case of rain. The elevation gain 830 meters, over approximately 6 or 7 miles. Part of the trail is unimproved and part is paved. The view from the... More

It is futile to try explainimg the views, one has to be there to understand. Best trekking in the Bernesse Oberland we did.

We visited Niederhorn in April 2016. Welcomed by Phillip who could not do enough for us. Stayed 3 nights. Snowed in one day, which was a great experience for a couple of Aussies. The next day we were greeted with great sunshine and phenomenal views of the Alps across Lake Thun including the Jungfrau, Eiger etc etc. Proceeded to take... More

if you are staying in Interlaken, its a must visit to Neiderhorn for a panorama view of the mountains and lake Thun. Take the bus number 21 from Interlaken west direct to Beatenberg, cable car from Beatenberg to Neiderhorn up. The View from top is spectacular as you are sitting in front of the mountains facing them along with the... More
