Such a glorious hike to get to Oesxhinen Lake, so beautiful! They have a little shuttle to get from the lake to the Gondola.

We took the gondola and hiked to the lake and enjoyed a lovely lunch. There is a hotel on site and on our next visit would stay there for a night.

The most breathtaking view we have ever experienced. Definitely a must do if in Kandersteg. We specifically went to Kandersteg for this lake and it was absolutely worth it. The Gondolas up to the mountain are large and quick. Once at the top there were...More

Most exquisite lake and wonderful surroundings. Peaceful indeed. May be a little pricey, but local hotels give tourist discount cards, which helps.

A lovely lake surrounded by mountains. It’s an interesting walk downhill from the main road, so don’t take the mini-bus while going there. Do take it while coming back. The toboggan is fun. The restaurant is great but slightly expensive. Recommended visit.

Hello, I did not do this hike (took the cable car) but from the official site I know that from Kandersteg to the lake it takes you 1.5h. The elevation is about 400m.
