I was really surprised to find Adelboden and was wondering why I didn't know it before.
It is not as famous as Grindelwald or Zermatt, but it's really worth visiting. It is very very nice.

I ski here since 28 years. It's changed a bit over the years but the biggest improvement is the chairlift at Chuenisbergli (world cup track) and Hoechst chairlift that connects with the entire Adelboden LenK area from Barglager Gondel Station.

This ski resort has quite an extensive range of runs, some of which are reasonably long. Lenk is accessible via bus. Thus is worth a visit for a day as the runs are long and interesting.
