I didn't take an audio guide but walked on the pre-ordained path throughout. I saw interesting Roman and Burgundian items, also found out more about the prehistoric "menhir" standing stones on the outskirts of town. Amazing, go there too! You can get a feeling for...More

Nice 2 hours. Difinetly take the Audio guide. Would recommend it, and it is something different to do. That sums it for me.

If you are interested in History this is a must visit place. They have organized and presented the whole Yverdon history in a remarkable way.

This museum inside the old castle is surprising good. A number of varied exhibitions - roman stuff, military stuff, old canoes from 2000+ years ago, stuff about the industrial ages... loads of different stuff. And what a castle. worth the visit just for that.
