Loyal customers for years for winter activities, we tested their summer offer for the first time and we were more than delighted. The weekly Bike School course and the Kids Camp (multi-activity) allowed my son to have an extraordinary time. He has also progressed very well in mountain biking. The supervising teachers were great and I can now only recommend the ESS Villars, summer and winter.

I had the pleasure of two 1:1 lessons with the fabulous instructor Alex Leaver on my recent trip to Villars. I was lacking confidence and was so anxious that I almost gave up skiing. Alex understood my feelings and coached me with respect and kindness, she gave me clear and effective strategies that boosted my self esteem and confidence. I can’t believe the difference she made to my experience, I went on to thoroughly enjoy the rest of my trip and progressed from blue runs to red.

My friend Ditte is blind and at 42 had never skied. The ESS in Villars-sur-Ollon offers tandem ski sessions in which a seat on skis is driven by a pilot, we thought it would be fun to try. And fun it was! Funtastic! We were particularly impressed by how professional and friendly the pilot Frédéric was to explain and show Ditte what they were going to do. Once the apprehension of the first slope vanished, it was shrieks of laughter for the full two hours. Following them on my skis, I couldn’t stop laughing. An exhilarating experience for both of us. Thank you so much!

I can’t express how grateful we are for Stephanie teaching us how to ski! We had 3 sets of 2 hour lessons and the progress we made was remarkable, the school has great facilities. We were adults learning for the first time and although it’s a humbling experience it instructor was good at keeping us positive and progressing. Can’t recommend it enough.

My daughter and I wanted to continue to learn to do controlled jumps. Our first day of ski was Sunday so we checked the snowpark we knew from the year before. To our surprise we found out that the small bumps were no longer there (and neither were the box and rails) and there were only "next level" jumps. On Monday our private lessons would start and we were quite nervous about going airborne at this speed and height. We had asked for and fortunately were assigned the same instructor as the year before, Téo Guillot. It took two lessons over two days but Téo managed to get us confident and enjoy the jumps. Besides being a competent instructor, he is also a very positive and friendly person, great when you learn new things. Merci, Swiss Ski School Villars, merci Téo!

It was only my second time skiing and so I had a couple of lessons which really helped me. The instructors were friendly and patient and gave me some good tips which helped build my confidence to ski on my own (which I did!). Beautiful scenery and lovely staff; I had the best time and can’t wait to go back!

I had a class with Stephan, my level is advanced, however I decided I want to improve it and I took some lessons. Stéphane immediately found out my mistakes and he corrected them, he is outstanding in how he explains how to correct them. My level improved drastically in only 2 hours, I will definitely take more lessons from him

This is our second year enrolling our daughters in ski school and we could not be more happy. Our youngest daughter attended the kids snow garden ski school and was very keen to return every day. The head instructor in the kids garden was very kind and accommodating.
Our eldest attend both group lessons and a private lesson in Bretaye. She loved her private lesson with Sophie!

I always go to ESS for skiing lessons in Breteye. This year my daughter and I had lessons with Leo Vincent. It was great fun. Leo helped us feel more confident on our skis, was very patient and we had a great time. Even for an experienced skier it’s a good idea to have a Moniteur with you on your first days back on skis to give you some tips and help you get re-acquainted with the slopes.

From the team at the ski school office to the snowboard and ski instructor everyone is so friendly and helpful. I had a really great time snowboarding and the lesson was epic. Learned new advanced tricks and riding style. In private the lesson are tailor to your needs and it’s great. The staff are easy to get on with, time flies when your having fun.

Hi! We normally not mix adults & kids as it is not the same progression and the same way to teach. I suggest to you to book one teacher for the adults and one for the kids.
