The resort was nice with good snow and long runs that ran right down to the village however a lot of walking was required in ski boots between lifts making it far from ideal.

Saas-Fee is very easy to get around, great lifts, big ski park for kids, lots of different levels, very nice ski instructos, decent town pool, nice chalets and places to stay, good offer for eating, and not so expensive, friendly too.

Nursery slopes exceptional - much larger than most. High altitude means good snow. Much busier in March than our usual month of January. Good variety of walks if not skiing

We are skiers in our 60s. ( dont tell my wife I told you). This resort has fabulous scenery, especially the revoving restaurant at the top, which is a must for at least a drink mid morning. The only issue is that the area is...More

A small 120kms resort with a glacier snowsure prone to closing with strong winds. The running joke is that if you sneeze in Zurich (miles away) Saas Fee will close all the ski lifts. It happens more than any ski resort I've been to. On...More

Awesomely fun skiing. Massive, with 150 kilometres of maintained ski slopes in the winter months, and a lesser number when temperatures warm. On Saas-Fee’s 18 mountain peaks each close to 3.6 kilometres above sea level, the blue glaciers of the Alps are close to each...More

It is not the largest or steepest ski-resort in the Alps, but thanks to high altitude and a well thought through system it is a very nice place for 2-3 days skiing.

Saas Fee is certainly my top ski destination. It has everything one could wish for in a ski resort, and then some. Clean, quiet, great people, excellent ski.

Best to buy tickets in advance as they will be much cheaper - check the SBB website for Supersaver tickets, these are limited in number and will tie you to a specific train time etc but the savings are quite substantial... More
