Nietzsche Haus may not have much to offer someone who is not a fan of the great philosopher. For me, however, it was a pilgrimage well worth making. But it's really not the photographs and letters, not the death mask, nor recreated office, nor the upstairs room where the master wrote some of his greatest works -- it's what you see as you leave Nietzsche's front door and exit into the soaring mountain landscape of the Engadin that he loved so well.
There is a booklet available for 8CHF that does an excellent job of explaining what the region meant to him and how it sustained and inspired his most excellent and unique spirit.

We entered Nietzsche-Haus in Sils-Maria just outside St. Moritz expecting to learn a little about the Philosopher in the house he lived in and be finished in an hour. Half a day later, we were just about ready to leave. There is much to view here, including photos, documents in Nietzsche's handwriting, and other exhibits. It was a wonderful experience and is highly recommended.

I have not considered Nietzsche since high school but am culturally interested and do not mind philosophy. So on this rainy day I joined the tour and was absolutely fascinated! You sit in a small room listening to the curator who has spent his life on researching Nietzsche, providing an easy to understand and lifely account of his work. Will try to read one of the Nietzsche books!

Our expectations were high however left very disappointed. This museum has no structure, exhibits are mostly poor photo copies, extremely small print, no explanations, no guidance, chaotic and poorly presented. Very disappointing and is certainly not worth the entrance fee. This museum needs to employ a museum expert and carry-out some serious work on the presentation. It's simply not good enough that a few amateurs with an interest in Nietzsche runs a museum and manages artifacts of world importance.

We recently visited the Nietzsche-Haus to learn more about his life and works.
The museum is more like a library, with many of Nietzsche's books displayed on shelves and original documents connected to him presented under glass-covered cases. A person on staff at the small reception desk helped us understand some of the broad outlines of Nietzsche's story.
Perhaps the most interesting parts of the museum were its displays about Nietzsche's sister, who married a racist, hosted Hitler, and helped the Nazis deliberately misuse Nietzsche's writings to suit their own agenda (she took advantage of Nietzsche during his extended stays in hospitals for mental health issues). In turn, nearby displays on Oscar Levy, a German Jew who emigrated to Britain and spent decades trying to discredit the Nazis and defend Nietzsche, were also gripping -- the displays included his famous open letter (~26 pages long) to Hitler.
Though the displays were somewhat dense and limited in scope (for instance, we didn't see any details about Oscar Levy's own extremist political views and activities; we only learned about that later), they still offered fascinating glimpses of the intellectual battle for the "true" meaning of Nietzsche's ideas. If only for that reason, this museum is well worth a visit.

The house is well preserved. To understand Nietzsche thoughts and make a step back in this writer's past.

Limited opening hours aside one simply must visit this little almost cliched house. See for yourself. Well kept up. Only needs 20 minutes.

In addition, some items relating to Anne Frank, who stayed with her family in a house located above the Waldhaus hotel.

This small house bears witness to one great man and his work, and is also a great place to see work of several contemporary artists

Olá.
Ouvi falar que também pode dormir no local, como um Hotel, mas o mínimo seriam 3 noite?
Procede?
E quais os preços?
Eu precisaria de uma noite apenas.
