for a time th jenish museum is presenting part of the nestle collection of art, with very good works and some less interesting, in a way we could not find a line and the way of this presentation.

Jenisch museum focuses on Swiss artists and others who spent part of their lives in the Vevey area. The Nestle corporation is also using it to display it's growing collection of mostly contemporary art. Americans might well be surprised at the number of very interesting artists they have never heard of or seen before.

With high hopes, went to visit this museum today. Except for a special exhibit on papers from Venice the museum was almost empty in its permanent collection! Just a few old paintings here and there but 80% empty! A waste of 12CHF!
