On top of a beautiful mountain lies this amazing, picturesque, small town of Gruyere...it is absolutely wonderful!! And if you like fondue, go there to enjoy some delicious treats!!

Lovely little gift store. We bought a hand full of traditional Swiss souvenirs from Gruyeres! Well-worth a stop while visiting the town

Came here after visiting the little town of Gruyère. We opted to try a traditional fare. We had the half and half fondue with some add-ones and meringue with cream for dessert.
Everything was absolutely delicious.
The server was SO kind and accommodating, answered all our questions about the menu and the culture. She spoke both English and French which was perfect for us.
I felt bad she was so busy today it seemed she was overwhelmed trying to keep up as she seemed to be the only serving staff for the duration of our stay.
She recommended the meringue and cream and it was absolutely sinful!
The decor was nice- typical Swiss fashion that you read about in the books.
Priced accordingly. Have no real say on this matter as it is comparable to other places serving similar meals (Switzerland is VERY expensive).
Indoor is a great view, front patio is nice facing the valley and the entrance patio is nice due to Gruyère being nice and quaint.
Would recommend. Can’t say enough positive things about the service !

We stopped by to have some afternoon snack, the children had icecream and the grown ups had coffee. The coffee was a little strong but everything else was OK, great location in the midst of the medieval village and the hospitality shown to us was excellent.

We had trouble finding a establishment serving breakfast in both Gruyere AND Bulle. Not to mention, a serious English barrier. But when we walked into Gruyere Traditions the waitress spoke English, and the food was breakfast buffet style. Although it isn’t what we’re use to in America, it was traditional for European meals, with lots of breads and cheese served alongside bacon and eggs. Everything was tasty and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking to do a morning stop to Gruyere, this will hit the spot.
