The place is big and there is a great selection of pools, saunas and steamrooms, and the saunas and steamrooms are quite nice and tidy. We had a treatment at the spa, it was reasonably priced and felt great, so that was also a big plus. The decor is a bit much, yes, but it looks actually kinda nice and not that cheap so it's quite well done. The aufgusses were a mixed bag; some of them were super nice and relaxing with nice aromas, music and heat. And then there were the ones that tried to give you a hearing loss by blasting Ed Sheeran so loud that I was genuinely worried that it would be the last thing I will ever hear. So maybe stay on the lower sections of the sauna so you can save yourself from permanent damage if you accidentally end up in one of those eardrum-blasting ones.
And the food? Eh... it was clearly store-bought freezed stuff with zero ambition. And water costs 7 pln, not bad, but I would have preferred free water stations as getting dehydrated from saunas is a real possibility. But drinks were quite good and being able to drink them in the pool was nice.
The biggest thing that drops this place from 4 to 3 is the overall cleanliness. The floors are dirty with the sand and they don't seem to clean the floors that often, and they got quite disgusting, so flipflops are a must. And you could see (and feel) the sand residues in the jacuzzies and pools.
So overall, it's a nice place that could easily be a great place if they cleaned it much more often and thoroughly and put a little bit of effort to the foods.

One of my highest points of my trip to Poland!!!!
We choose a romantic package so we stayed there for one night. The Sauna area was kind of unusual for us because this is a naked mixed-gender saunas which we don't have in Iceland but we got just to it right away
So many types of sauna and steambath to choose from. The area is build up like an old greek-roman style and has such a charming and relaxed atmosphere. They also have a relaxing room where people come together, lay on the floor and meditate.
We went also to one show in the big areana (highly recommend) The sauna master Joes Hermsen was doing incredible show with some ice, water and aroma where he put it on the hot stones above the sauna heater.
We booked a extra treatment. Whole body massage and foot massage and it was totally worth it.
The Sauna Spa gets 10/10
The hotel get 8/10
Only thing that I can complain about is there is no air-conditioning in the room over there. I don't know if the all the room is like that but we stayed in the room 17.

We had read up on this site prior to arriving and were not disappointed. We arrived at 1045 on a Sunday morning and spent several hours here chilling.
The receptionist explained how it worked and off we went to explore.
To start with it seems a little confusing with lots of doors off the low lit corridor but you soon get your bearings. Some are steam rooms, some are saunas, some are rest areas. All at different temperatures
A helpful sauna master provided us with the correct etiquette. In all the rooms NO flip flops. In the saunas you sit on the towel with one end beneath your feet and the other under your backside. In the steam rooms, you take nothing in with you.
Everyone there was so friendly and respectful of each other. A truly liberating and relaxing experience
There's a jacuzzi and pool inside to chill in to and outside although it was raining were more pools and hot tubs and saunas
There's a cafe area too and everything is charged to your wrist tag and you pay as you leave.
Highly recommend

We are just to leave the Termy Rzymskie. We regret we cannot stay longer. The place is absolutely No. 1 in Poland as to spending time in sauna, there are about 20 digferent ones, incl. the biggest sauna in the world! there are plenty of outdoor and indoor jacuzzis, indoor and outoor pool, next to which there is a stage, where during weekends or special events invited DJ’s or bands play music live! You can dance freely on the pool enjoing drinks served in the bar under the stage - funtastic!!! There are also typical spa services possible - massages, skin treatments, etc. But we come there for sauna aufguss events. They are just great with serwis of aufguss sessions across the whole day. Pretty often the saunamasters from all of the world are making there their performances. Amazing! You can also stay in the hotel just next to that and have meals inside Termy but these are not so prime quality as saunas.

Amazing place! A definite must go for every person who likes saunas, ancient Rome or both. You will leave this place relaxed and fresh. An additional big plus is a fully equipped gym stylised to look like an inside of an Egyptian pyramid. I will come here again, many time.

A real sauna paradise - we are still recovering from a shock places like that exists in Poland in not so picturesque location, but a very urban and industrial area. It's like an oasis.... I have never seen such variety of saunas and steam rooms - I don't think we managed to see them all during our few hours long visit. Everything is kept very clean and hygienic and you are required to be naked - towels are needed. The music and atmosphere is very relaxing and old Roman decor makes the place quite special. No hot pools here - just cold water :-) There is fantastic large outdoor sauna and the have sauna rituals every hour with a sauna master - I was very sceptical but after attending one I wished I went to them all. It was amazing experience and the sauna master was not only highly skilled but very friendly and funny - he played Bob Marley and was wearing Jamaican hat with attached dreadlocks ;-) The restaurant isn't great and the staff wasn't that nice either, you would think smiling does kill ;-) If you are hungry order salad - the best food on the menu and quite enjoyable, rest is hardly edible and hugely overpriced, Please do yourself a favour and visit this place - you will love it!

Poland is not a very sauna-friendly place compared to Germany or Czech Republic. If you're staying at a spa hotel here you're likely to see people entering the saunas in flip-flops and bathing suits. So if in Silesia region of Poland and enjoy a true sauna experience, visit Czeladz with this spa center. The rooms are decorated in a bit kitschy manner but services and offer is professional - you get Finnish saunas, steam baths, a hot tub in kind of a salt cave, tubs with ice cold water, nice showers and resting places. They also have a sauna house outside of the main building where they can fit around 100 people for an Aufguss (a typical German sauna tradition where they put water on hot stones to increase temperature and then wave towels at participants to help them sweat it all out, sometimes done with music and humour) and after you can get outside in the cold pool (great in the winter). There is also a small indoor swimming pool and some spa services such as massage. Worth spending a whole day there, just relaxing.

There are not too many attractions in Czeladz but Termy Rzymske seems to attract people going there from distant locations and half of the clients talk German. I especially recommend sauna rituals. I didn't even know before that there are people mastering towel spinning.
I do not understand the 'nudist' buzz around that place. They forbid wearing swimsuits but you can or sometimes even should use towels or dressing gowns. So the rules are the same as in every other sauna I visited.

It's a sauna paradise in a location closer to Katowice urban area. It's an oasis with a so wide variety of traditional saunas which is really difficult to find in Poland as it isn't a very sauna-friendly place compared to Austria and Germany.
If in the past I was used to stop in Austria to find such a place since last year when I found the termy rzymskie in Czeladz I changed idea.
I was there in 31st of Dicember too for the end of the year and the experience was fantastic: we passed all the night relaxing, having any kind of saunas with rituals by highest level sauna masters each hour and champagne of course! We slept in the hotel too, a little older but comfortable.
The sauna area comprises traditional finnish saunas, steam baths, tubs with ice cold water, showers and many resting places. There is a really fantastic large outdoor sauna too outside of the main building which can contain approx 100 people for the Aufguss ritual before you can jump into the cold pool!
As any real sauna you are required to be naked.
If you like sauna you have to spend a whole day there enjoying the high professionality and relaxing.

Okay spa, mostly concentrated on (hot) saunas. We went there as part of out stay at the Palac Saturna hotel.
There is a wide variety of saunas and several baths, and a larger outside lounge area with beds.
The baths and saunas are sanitary, but the entourage and design is extremely shoddy and fake. It's also all rather dark, since it is located in the basement of the hotel.
So if you're staying at the hotel this is a really nice free bonus. If you're coming here only for the spa, i think it's rather over-priced (especially for Polish standards).
