The building is quite small but inside is really nice . It was the first time that I have ever visited an Aquarium so I enjoyed it a lot ! They have a peaceful Musik on the background that makes you feel you are near the see or you are exploring something. Also there is a small room inside the Aquarium where you can watch a documentary about the life unter the see!

It's a small aquarium located next to the city centre and the beach. We were there with the one year old baby. He couldn't walk by himself yet but it was not a problem at all. We left the stroller next to the entrance and carry the infant on our hands. It was a good choice. Our son had a great time, he was very excited. There are fish tanks and glass tunnels where you can watch colorful fishes and sharks swimming around you. There is also a small playground in front of the aquarium (with cars for children), gift shop inside and some kind of restaurant. In general, I recommend to go to the aquarium if you are with small children and/or the weather is not nice.

Very well kept fish house. It may not be as spectacular as Sea world but has some excellent species. People who can visit this in 30 minutes know nothing about fish. As a previous fish keeper and a marine biologist I found it very interesting My young 7 year old was hard to tear away from the tanks. Shark tunnel with large species of different fish therein. Seating area to watch the feeding and a film theatre. Difficult to find as signposted throughout the main town but then leaves you dry and it took us 20 minutes to find We were told that was because its not owned by the city but is a private business. Beach really nice by the parking.

This is a charming little aquarium that can be visited in around 20-30 minutes. The exhibition of the local fish was very well set and educational. There is a family-friendly restaurant on site and during our visit they had a huge trampoline. All in all, we spent around 2 hours there between the restaurant, the aquarium and the playground, having a relaxed afternoon. Not a must-see - but entertaining nevertheless.

The aquarium is a great activity to do on a rainy day. Positive: - Many fish - One can be quite close to the fish - There are two under water tunnels - There's a place in the restaurant for kids to play - There's also a playground outside Negative: - A lot of dark scary places for children - The movie that they show seems to have been filmed 50 years ago; the sound and image are both very bad quality - Some tanks are empty (and there was no explanation to it) - It is very small and therefore over within 20 minutes - The playground outside does not seem to be taken care of; a lot of things were broken! Especially those little cars that kids can ride on: they are either missing a tire, or the tire is broken or anything really. All in all, kids will have fun (if they are not afraid of the dark) but parents will see why it is definitely not worth all that money. A little disappointing! And it could be taken care of more and especially modernizing it.
