When the weather is good the boats are really full. It cost 11 Euro for a 2 hour roundtrip. There is possibility of buying beer soda and ice-cream on board. The journey is fine but not very much to see, no other boats or people, but of course a couple of birds.

Had a nice boat ride that was a good break from the walking on the tour. A good part of the ride was seeing the bridges and getting very close to land.

The title sums up the experience. This was a nice journey through five linked small lakes in a vessel very reminiscent of the sightseeing canal boats of Amsterdam. There were a few small eats and drinks available to purchase. There was no extensive guided tour but was agentle interlude at a cost of €7 each for adults.

My wife & I took a trip around the 5 Lakes using this service on a cold day. There are inside & outdoor seating areas where you can relax & see the pretty scenery. There is no commentary so you can relax & enjoy the scenery.

You can take a trip with the boat al around the 5 lakes or you can go ashore once on your ticket. We got off in Plön and continued our trip after 2 hours. The boat we started on in Bad Malente was nice and had tables where you could sit with and drink a coffee. The boat we got on after our stop in Plön had no tables, only rows with banches.
