It is a beautiful place and we loved it. That being said it is a small area. We stayed overnight, and I wouldn’t recommend staying a whole lot more than a night or two.

Historical town with wonderful architectural colourful buildings. Had coffee and apple strudel in one of the cafe for a well earned rest after a long walk along the Rhineland.

As the morning goes on, the shops and cafes open, people appear and the atmosphere begins to buzz. Because Cochem is small you can't miss this historic location. Have a coffee and a slice of apple strudel, or enjoy a glass of the mosel wine! Not to be missed. It's picture
