Very interesting place, they have so many cars, planes, train and even a submarine. I really recommend to visit this Museum. They have a cheap and good restaurant named Hangar with its good.

Yesterday we visited this museum for the first time. It is different from the museum in Sinsheim. What is really well done is the space eexhibition, featuring a lot of original memorabilia and an original "Buran" =Russian space craft similar to the US space shuttle. You can enter a submarine, a rescue ship, a Jumbo Jet, ....beatiful cars and a... More

There is a lot to see here. However, I don't think you will see stuff that you didn't know about before. There is an IMAX theater.

A wonderful collection of old cars, fire engines, planes and what I would call glockenspeils (music machines). Space was also well covered. They have the last surviving Russian Space Shuttle that you can walk through and an excellent exhibit of Apollo moon landings. The 747 walk through and slide down was fun too. A great way to spend an afternoon.

This Museum is a place where some wonders of the world gave us a rare chance of visiting inside a 747-jumbo jet, how a U9 submarine operated, the Russian space shuttle Buran, the Moonstone, space suits, fire trucks, locomotives, antique cars, and thousands of items from the 19th and 20th centuries including orchestra instruments, flute clocks, music boxes and a... Even if you are not a fan of planes and cars the museum is absolutely worth a visit. Impressive collection of planes, cars, space engines and many small discoveries to be made. For kids it is perfect. If they get annoyed you can cheer them up by putting 1€ in one of the many moving exhibits. Only negative point is... More

Despite not being particularly interested in planes, etc, I really enjoyed this museum. It helped that I was there with a very excited husband and a very excited small boy. It also helped that we visited a week before Christmas and it was very quiet, which meant no queues, no crowds, and plenty of time to look at everything. I... More

We found this museum by chance when we saw this Lufthansa B747-100 hovering over the autobahn. It's a great museum --- you can walk into most of the planes and out on the wing of the Lufthansa B747. But it's not just planes and trains, lots of classic cars as well as a submarine (I think from the 1950's but... More

I visited this place last year and was fascinated mostly by the huge Boeing 747 above the museum. You can go inside, see also the construction of the aircraft but main experience is walking on the wing. Amazing - feel like airborne! There are others and others plane and cars etc. you can see...
