It is really very good and unique as it gives the possibility to view and touch actual Space Craft, Space Capsule, Boeing 747, Submarine, fighter aircrafts, Steam Engines. and you name it. The children love it, they can spend the whole day without getting tired. The restaurant inside is good and relaxing. The race cars have to be seen. Another... More

If you have kids that like wheels and planes this is the best place to go. Areas where you can actually go inside the planes are awesome too.

Just visited the Speyer Technik Museum on the weekend. This place is great to visit and has really nicely displayed their expositions. I was a little disappointed that the ME 262 mock up has disappeared from the aerospace hall as I had promised that to my friends and visitors from the US. Over all the variety of the technical displays... More

I've never been to a museum with so many planes and cars under one roof that one can visit. This is a private collection and is absolutely wonderful. If ever you find yourself in Speyer this is a must

This museum is one of the best I have ever been to. A 747 hanging in the air that you can go up and into to tour. Planes outside that you can go into and see as well as old cars and exhibits inside. An imax show as well that is amazing. This museum is a hidden gem. If you... More

We are technical enthusiasts. All of us loves cars, planes, technics behind each piece of moving vehicle. My husband always explains all - being a car mechanic in love with his job. So I always get the story behind engine types or technical improvements. This was our first visit but could hardly leave. So many things to see. 100% experience

An enormous technical museum. Beautifully displayed and not focused on one single subject. Ranging from Enormous steam powered trains to old timer cars and everything in between.

My wife and I were in Speyer to visit our FIL who had been hospitalised due to an accident. We noticed the 747 some 80' in the air on metal struts and were intrigued. The museum is a tremendous find every type of airplane mounted on pylons ,suspended fron ceiling and walls of vast hangers.Fantastic collection of vehicles from a... More

So my husband loves old cars and things so this was right up his alley. However, although I found some things interesting, I was not blown away by this museum. The pros are there are a lot of things to look at and can easily take the day if you like. There are kids activities, the ability to climb into... More

This is the most enormous and comprehensive museum I have ever seen. It is very inteeactive and captivating due to the huge variety of displays. Everything from cameras and sewing machines to cars, locomotives, planes and even a submarine. Well worth the entry fee. A fantastic family outing, too.
