We found this museum by chance when we saw this Lufthansa B747-100 hovering over the autobahn. It's a great museum --- you can walk into most of the planes and out on the wing of the Lufthansa B747. But it's not just planes and trains, lots of classic cars as well as a submarine (I think from the 1950's but... More

I visited this place last year and was fascinated mostly by the huge Boeing 747 above the museum. You can go inside, see also the construction of the aircraft but main experience is walking on the wing. Amazing - feel like airborne! There are others and others plane and cars etc. you can see...

Really enjoyed it! Lots to see and learn! Make sure you give yourself enough time to see everything, as it is huge!! Especially enjoyed the space ship, the Lufthansa airbus where you can climb on the wing and use the slide to get down again, the submarine and the diverse train engines.

We chose to visit Technik museum while on a river cruise. There are plenty of old cars and planes as well us some trains, boats and other technical items. We spent several hours there and it was good to see the old items

Visited here and Sinsheim Museum with a friend last weekend, we drove 5hrs from the Netherlands and had a great time. Both museums have something for everyone; lots of old cars, buses, motorbikes, trains, wartime pieces and for us: so many airplanes and even a space shuttle! All airplane exhibits were open to walk around inside - a highlight for... More

Not much to say, except that it is a must see! Very nice set up compared to other museums where it is too much separated in specific sections here I like that cars/motorcycles and trains are in the same hall. Also further back where they have the Russian version of the space shuttle there is quite a mix; this time... More

We have gone twice now. It's fun for adults and kids. We stayed the whole day. There's a restaurant and snack shop. The food is good and inexpensive. The gift shop has something for everyone.

We arrived in the afternoon and realized we could easily spend a lot more time here. Basic entry( without IMAX) is 10€. How to describe this place? Part is outside exhibits of large vessels and aircraft, everything from a 747, u boat, fighter jets, and military helicopters. Inside the buildings are cars, trucks, motorcycles and vehicles of every type imaginable.... More

We planned our own itinerary with Viatorius Tours as my husband and I wanted to visit car and history museums and they suggested visiting Technik Museum and was so happy they did. We had a fabulous time as there was so much to see cars, bikes, tanks, trains, planes, war artifacts and the list goes on! There was a Harley... More
