It has been a total disappointment.
The place: Very small and uncomfortable, very narrow hallways
Price: Very expensive for what it is
Total duration: 30 minutes (filling with 1 1 year old girl)

Service: Disastrous
They were a pregnant woman with her mother who had just had back surgery and they were not allowed to enter with the stroller for the baby even though the website says that if it is not a holiday you can (they told us that it was considered a holiday because although in the Bundesland it is not It was a holiday, in the Bundesland next door it was... totally illogical).
Incredible how illogical this reasoning is.

Conclusion: We will neither return nor recommend it. It is a shame that these prices are charged for such a disastrous service and for a half-hour journey......

We were there with 4 adults and 2 children and spent a whopping €108. Prices are extortionate!!!! Unfortunately, it's not really worth a visit for such high prices, unfortunately more has to be offered. Everyone was disappointed! Unfortunately, we won't be able to recommend it to anyone!

We wanted to go to Seaworld with 4 adults and 2 children. Our grandson cannot walk due to illness. When we asked, we were told that a visit with a stroller is not possible during the holidays etc. We conclude from this that a visit with a wheelchair is also not possible during the holidays, at weekends and on public holidays. We wonder if the Seaworld management has not heard of discrimination. We were also told that it was not suitable for children anyway.

Herzliche Grüße aus Speyer Dein SEA LIFE Team

Let me start by saying I have visited many of the best aquariums in the USA. This does not even come close to the worst aquarium we’ve seen in the US. It took us about 1 house to reach Speyer from our house. We started our visit by waiting over 40 minutes outside in line. The line was filled with mostly Germans so we thought it would be worth the wait. The line was out the door and wrapped around the block. After a long wait we finally entered the very, very small lobby. There were 2 workers that were so busy talking to each other it took 10 minutes for us the pay. I asked them if they were aware there was a line around the block and they did not seem to care.
We finally paid and were stuck waiting in front of a closed door. The automatic door opened and we were stuck waiting in another room before that door opened and allowed us inside. The fish seemed to be in OK shape but it was so hard to see them due to the crowds. The rooms were small and so were the tanks. They had a lot in both English and German which was nice but it was too crowded to see the fish. We moved at a snail’s pace due to the crowds. At that rate it only took us about 35 minutes to make it through the entire aquarium. We spent 35 euro on tickets for 1 adult and 2 children so at that price it cost us a euro per minute for our visit! Way overpriced for the amount of fish to see.
My other complaint was that there was not 1 parking lot next to the aquarium. The nearest parking lot was several blocks away. If you are lucky it might be possible to find a spot on the street. The only reason I am giving it 1 star is that they offered umbrellas to the people waiting in the rains. Save your money and buy a DVD about the ocean instead or wait and visit a real aquarium in the US. I love Germany but I was so very disappointed in this place.

Having read the reviews, many of which say the same thing - small, etc, we still went as there really isn't much to do for a three year old in the region other than Luisenpark and walks in the bush. So we thought to try something new. My son is three and a half and he was entertained. He probably could have used more, but actually a lot of other acquariums like Toronto, Sydney, etc are actually too big for a kid this age. So this one in Speyer was perfect. We bought the 12 month pass. I'll be bored easily, but I think the 3 year old will find it interesting even if we go once a month which works out to about 2 Euro per visit. At that rate it's worth it. For older kids I'd recommend something else. Although, Shark feeding time was interesting.

The staff are great. There are fantastic little sharks, sea horses, large turtles, etc. And a crab exhibit opens soon. My son loved it so I'm happy as in the end we go there for him, not for me. With this thought in mind I changed by 3/5 rating to 4/5. The restaurant was perfectly good. The Chicken nuggets are very high quality. The Pommes left a lot to be desired. pricing for food is on the high side for attractions in Germany. But when you're trapped there with no other options, you're stuck.

Sea Life in Speyer is a very small aquarium dedicated to the marine ecology of the Rhine valley. Normal entrance price is 14.50 euro per adult and 10 euro per kid. Because we arrived an hour before closing, the entry fee was halved. That's about right for what you get. There is a touch pool, which my daughter really loved.

First challenge on arrival is to find a place to park. Once you get it you realise it‘s going to cost you. After paying the high entry fee I assume we‘d get a vallet to park the car free of charge or something...
Then you walk in and if you booked online they check your phone but also your passport!! I booked flight in Europe and gone on a plane without having to show my passport... just saying... it doesn’t make you feel very welcome but that‘s not that important.
First advice if you have a family, go one at a time or something because going there with a 4 years old and a 1 year old in a buggy is just a nightmare! No space no room to park the buggy to let other enjoy the few fishes in there. So don’t take your buggy or don’t take your kids... either way... then the entry fee is pretty big but the place... it‘s just tiny!! Really tiny! You go around in 60min and that’s if you really take your time to do all the little kiddy activities...
Then health and safety... the boring bit but seriously!! At head height all displays are sharp as a knife... I noticed by scratching myself... most of the frames are badly build and leave very sharp edges at the perfect height for a kid to either take an eye out or at least bleed after a little knock. I‘d love to see a safety record... if those are out for a while and nobody cut themselves I would be astonished. Like a lot more astonished than after the visit of this over priced, over crowded little aquarium!

I wouldn’t recommend to waste your Sunday there with your kids...

Beautiful aquarium but a bit small for the high entree fees. Even with small kids you will be through in less than an hour..

I have been to other sea lifes but this one is tiny, amazingly expensive (60 euros for 4 of us!!!!!!!!!!). In total less than an hour of 'entertainment'.
Would not recommend this for anyone at all, even on a rainy day. The queue took several times as long as the attraction itself.

Drove an hour and a half expecting the aquarium to be half decent. Very small, few fish, and small exhibits for the animals. The only thing that made this visit worth it was going to the museum of transportation.
