Quick, convenient, central and helpful. Right at the base of the bridge over to Keus and behind the historic market.

I have been to Bernkastel many times, each time is a new experience. Kues is the town on the other side of the river. Bernkastel is a German tourist trap. The river Mosel is beautiful with vineyards galore rising up on each river bank. Up river is the town of Cochem, also worth a visit.

My cousin took us to visit Bernkastel-Kues when we were visiting them in nearby Trier. I had never heard of it before and thought "where is she taking us". But when we got there, we we understood why. It is exactly what Americans think of as the typical German town with beautiful century old houses, cobblestone streets, pastry and win... More

My boyfriend and I live in Luxembourg and went for a day in Bernkastel. At first we wanted to go for a little wine tasting and go back home at night. We ended up in a cave with 2 couples of germans drinking wine for 10 hours straight!!! hahaha Such a fun experience!!! Of course we didn't drive back home... More

Bernkastel is one of the prettiest towns I've ever visited, with the most stunning half timbered buildings in it's historic centre it's a photographers delight, there are lots of little shops down the side streets and good cafes too

.... and try to get an accomodation over here. The city is small, but very cozy. With its medieval square one of the most pure I have ever seen in Germany, full of "Fachwerkhauze". And it is between the cities mentioned in the header. So it ks very easy to disckver these on a daytrip. And because if is less... More

Bernkastel-kues is one of my favourite places I've visited in Germany. The little hidden trail that are made up of cafe's restaurants and shops is a very enjoyable experience to see. Such a delight to see this well kept town and river Moselle which runs straight through. The tourist information had a lot of helpful information for the must see's... More
