Social distancing not maintained at all. please run train more frequent and allow only restricted number of people to board at one time. Now people were crowding on board after disembarking the ferry.

Price is included in the ferry. Also point to note that the departure time on your return ticket is the time when the train leaves the station: not when the ferry is departing.

the Kleinbahn picks you up from the ferry and takes you back. The price for it is included in your ferry ticket. We also went on the tour with the historic steam locomotive. It is all good fun and well organised.

The lifeline of the isle, it is a beautiful thing to experience. The cars are old, not very wheelchais accessible. The wmcars were well kept and the ride was slow but comfortable. You cannot miss this amazing ride

After you arrive with the ferry from Emden or Eemshaven you mount the waiting train and are taken slowly towards the town. Wooden benches and separate colourful wagons - it gives you a feeling for the culture of the people of Borkum - they keep this alive, welcome outside visitors and you feel well - not in a tourist place. It is safe and the living costs in Borkum are very affordable - even the train is already included in the ferry ticket. It shows the commitment of the locals with their traditions for everybody's benefit.

What a lovely welcome to the island. Ticket is included in the ferryticket. Beter than taking the bus although i'm not sure it's faster. Feels like going back in time in a good way. Children will love the ride.

The narrow gauge train has a purpose in that it takes poeple to and from the ferry terminal and the town thus helping to keep parts of the islan car free. It may be emphasised that this is transport and whilst picturesque the trains are not often steam-hauled. That said the ride is interesting from a sightseeing perspective.

The trains connect with the ferries and - indeed - the ferry times are actually the time the train leaves the town station. The train is included in the price of the ferry ticket.

For those of a technical nature this is the only narrow gauge railway that is double tracked all the way [wow!]

This is a door to door free antique train service from the harbour to the town center. Super charming and this is a really special way to welcome the visitors to this island. Keep up the tradition!

A lovely trip from the ferry to the centre of Borkum. The only thing is the timing in the mornings is a bit off when trying to catch the ferry back to the mainland.
