It may be emphasised that this is transport and whilst picturesque the trains are not often steam-hauled. That said the ride is interesting from a sightseeing perspective. The trains... More

This is a door to door free antique train service from the harbour to the town center. Super charming and this is a really special way to welcome the visitors to this island. Keep up the tradition!

a nice historic trainride that is included in the boat ticket. Very fun and relaxing way to get to and from the ferry.

A lovely trip from the ferry to the centre of Borkum. The only thing is the timing in the mornings is a bit off when trying to catch the ferry back to the mainland.

Makes easy to find the way from boat to the center of Borkum. Is free of use (price for train is included in ferry-ticket price). The vagons are the same like in the beginning of 1900, with beautiful polished wooden seats. A short trip that brings smile on your face.

Check the timetable and be there in time, because the departure from the village is phased with the ferry departure!!

It was free to use it and they took our bicycles on board too, helpful and free of charge. Nice ride, especially welcome in foul weather. Train takes you straight from the ferry into the middle of town.

A great way to get from the Ferry terminal to central Borkum. The train is included in the price of your ferry or ferry/train ticket from Emden.
