I have seen this lake frozen in the winter, but this year I got to see it in an unfrozen setting in the middle of December! Yes that is how mad the weather is. The sun was out, the water was glistening. The opportunity to...More

Lake Tegernsee is a very beautiful area in Germany and I throughly enjoyed the location, views, people and the food. It is certainly one of most spectacular holiday location in Europe!

There is no better way to enjoy a day, than catching a ferry on Tegernsee. Stopping off at the little towns, walking around and a drinking the local beer is definitely recommended.

Stroll around the walkway next to the lake. Enjoy wandering the streets and shops. Great way to spend time away from crowds and relax. Numerous restaurants from which to select.

One of the most beautiful lakes across Europe. Especially stunning on a warm summer day! Well worth the trip to this and the other Bavarian lakes.
