Located in the heart of Bad Wilderbad this Spa looked really nice on their Internet pages. Having never visited a German Thermal Spa before we had no idea what to expect and arrived ill-equipped. Regulars bring their own towels, robes and poolside footwear. We brought swimwear, the only thing we did not need!! The facility is located over 4 floors... More

Amazingly beautiful spa with plenty of pools and saunas to choose from. Love the addition of the infinity pool on the roof. Absolutely blissful to float in the warm water, surrounded by snow and overlook the mountain. This was my holiday to Bad Wildbad and I will definitely go again....in fact I go to Bad Wildbad BECAUSE of the spa!... More

The halls are decorated in bath house tiles that go along with the relaxing atmosphere. The water temperature is suitable enough for beginners or frequent visitors, and the saunas are a bit on the bright side, although there are those that are dimmer and give a nice atmosphere. Naturist pro or newbie, this is an inviting place to try.

Some of the most stunning architecture I seen at a spa. The upper floors are more modern but equally beautiful. Plenty of pools and saunas with various sizes and temperatures. Food prices are more than reasonable. Clothing is optional on one of the floors and the rest it's not allowed. So keep that in mind if nudity makes you uncomfortable.

Our first visit to a spa. We found it by accident whist touring the Black Forest. The lower floor has many ancient baths with beautiful decoration. The upstairs is more modern with saunas of varying intensity. One thing to note is that the upstairs is nude only and the attendants enforce this rule. If you turn up in your speedos... More

So we have spent every day this week trying the different swim bads and have narrowed it down to the top 3 of 6 and Palais Thermal is #1. Yes it is nude- just say to yourself "what other people think of me is none of my business! Don't miss this experience no one is looking at you! The hourly... More

Not been a person who goes often to such a place it was a very relaxing afternoon but some signage in English would of gone a long way (or even just a things you need to know sheet given to you at the front desk). Still you work things out quickly enough! We spent a whole afternoon here. For those... More

We went during the first week of August on a Thursday hoping that the place would not be crowded and it wasn't! Since there are many different floors, pools and saunas the visitors are very spread out and everyone gets to enjoy the various amenities. We especially enjoyed the saunas on the third floor and the very relaxing top deck.... More

You must go. If you have children they must be at least 12 due to the clothing optional policy. Well worth it. We've used our infants as a shield when we enjoyed the waters while naked. We also took our teens with us in bathing suits and loved. The Turkish mosaics, the warm private tubs and the amazingly restored artwork.... More

I've been to the Palais Therme over and over again, in fact it is the reason I travel to the Black Forest each year. Lovely spa with a huge choice of pools, sauna and treatments. LOVE the new additions on the roof (infinity pool and panorama saunas)...great at any time of year but I prefer the winter when you can... More
