This is one of the most beautiful towns in Baden-Wurttemberg! The Square had quaint shops and amazing scenery. Looking forward to visiting their Christmas market next year.

I have visited many European cities from London to Paris and from Prague to Budapest and always make it a point to visit the main town squares. Now, the first two cities are almost too big for the traditional town square, but I would put the smaller town square of Tübingen up there with the classy bigger cities' town square like Prague and Budapest. This place had it all with a rathuas, numerous restaurants, bars, stores, churches, and street performers. This place was so clean and simply pristine. I am definitely going to visit more often since I live so close in Schönich.…

Tübingen is a city in southwest Germany and home to one of Europe’s oldest universities. In the old town, Stiftskirche St. Georg is a late-Gothic church with stained-glass windows and city views from its tower. The ornately painted 15th-century City Hall is topped with a functioning astronomical clock.
