This park which is free and located in the vicinities of where I live, is worth one or more visits. The natural environment include forests, river, small lakes and hills, with a pleasant path you can take for a walk The park is tematic, about geology (giurassic-cretaci era) and all the places and formations are well explained with information plaques. Go for a visit from april to november (although the park is open all the year, and avoid July-August for the heat and humidity).…

We were a group of friends who made a guided tour of the park: the tour was beautiful and the guide was very good! The visit is facilitated by a series of scientific-educational panels (GeoStop and a comprehensive general guide.

Take a couple of hours or more to walk the valley up the river. Crystal clear water to swim in although it's freezing cold. Avoid going after rain as the water is not so nice. Picnic at the several designated spots along the way or just on a rock. Impressive rock formations. Very much recommended.…
