About

Local spot
Nov 2019 • Couples
A place for locals, well run, clean, not crowded, an excellent place to spend a few hours. Have been before, it’s recently been revamped, and is a pleasure to visit.

A fantastic time spent with friends at the Spa. It was well organised and the facilities were spot on.

Great spa
Aug 2017 • Couples
This large public spa in the black forest is frequented by locals of all ages, particularly older adults treating aches and pains, but children too. Indoor and outdoor pools, great variety of dry and wet saunas, inside and outside, some with spectacular views across the countryside, steam rooms etc. Lots of places to sunbathe, some nude, others not. Pools also bathing costumes, but most saunas are towel only. Very good value for great variety of very relaxing warm pools and treatments.

Lovely way to spend an afternnon
Sep 2017 • Solo
Even though it was cool weather the outside spas were lovely and warm in beautiful scenery. Disagree with reviewer as I (British) was the only one with a swimming costume on in the saunas. You have the choice of paying for just swimming, which includes the spa areas and a steam room or swimming and saunas in which case you go through a special gate to this unclothed sauna area with 3 saunas and rest areas and another steam room. Paid for 2 hours but wish I had chosen 3 hours.

Pleasant spa in Black Forest for conservatives
Dec 2016 • Couples
Pleasant spa in Black Forest for conservatives, as all patrons were fully clothed. Some spas in the Black Forest can be embarrassing due to the acceptance of public nudity. This is a smaller spa with few tourists.

Fantastic Illuminations
Nov 2016 • Couples
The atmosphere of this spa is utterly amazing, especially when its dark and the outside pool is illuminated with lots of beautiful changing colours. The temperature of all three pools is pleasantly warm and perfect for relaxing, as is the steam room, saunas and all the other facilities they offer.

Cute little spa lost in the big Black Forest!

Small but lovely and clean. Nice sauna area too. I would not get a massage there again though. Wasn't their strong point in my opinion.

Its not Baden Baden, but its not Bad
Apr 2016 • Couples
This is a therapeutic spa, not big on luxury, but you get a lot of therapy for the price of admission. Two block Saunas, an outdoor plunge pool, a steam bath, an oriental sauna, a panorama sauna, and a lovely rest deck. The indoor and outdoor pools are great as well, and you can wear suits.

Dead town with Kurbad Therme
Jun 2014 • Solo
Old stubborn people rule in this small blackforest village. Small cute local stores. Kurbad facilities for the overstressed and burn-out patients.
