Lovely pub with a huge selection of lovely whisky
May 2019 • Solo
I just stopped in Soest by coincidence.
This pub is lovely with a huge variety of lovely whisky. A lot is from the independent range. The staff is much of help and the Range is extraordinary, but Jason take the time and write a list! It would make life for whisky connoisseur much easy. Go to whiskybase and add your whisky. You can export that as an excel file. If something is empty delete it, but add new stuff!
Bunnahabhain, Dark side of Islay (=Caol ILA) and Octomore 8.4 are lovely and your barmaid is well trained, but please write the bloody list!

Nice pub good beer
Jun 2016 • Couples
We received a warm welcome by Jason the landlord. We enjoyed a couple of good beers and a nice chat. There are a number of whiskeys & whiskys on offer and the beer is in our opinion better than that available in the brewery across the road.

The new location for Whisky lovers in Soest
Mar 2016 • Friends
Jason, the landlord, has a vast knowledge of the hospitality business. He knows most of what there is to know about Scottish whisky and he knows all bout making the punter feel welcome and appreciated.
The town of Soest has really been lacking a place like this, where you can relax with a good pint of beer, or have a taste from the broad variety of whiskies and enjoy some friendly banter with the other punters.
On occasions there will be live music.
What more is there to say? I can only give Jason's pub my warmest recommendations.
