This so-called smallest house in Wernigorode is a typical half-timbered house and is at the corner of the street. Nothing to look inside but just take a pictuee outside.

A bored man spoke about 3 sentences. There was a large collection of international dolls upstairs. Don't recommend although very pretty from the outside.

Although it was already closed when I arrived and even although it wasn't a tiniest house I have ever seen I don't regret a small detour from the city center. It is just beautiful. And it was funny to watch people taking their pictures in front of it. Some of them looked almost bigger than the house.

It is astounding to learn that such a large family lived in this tiny and narrow house - a very colourful attraction in a very colourful old town centre.

Its hard to believe that a family of 9 and 1 guest lived in this small house but they did !! The house was lived in by a member that family until 1976.
Its a shame that the whole house is not open to the public but for €1 you get to see the ground and first floor.
Worth a visit to put what we have now into some prespective of what living conditions were like years ago.

One euro to enter. Greeted by a gentleman who told us a bit about the house and occupants. A couple of rooms down stairs, a back yard area and a larger room up the small staircase. A quick enjoyable visit.

Tiny house with interesting story, gets crowded and overrun by tourists during the summer. The rest of this historic town is quaint as well and well worth visiting

The front is completely out of wood with all kind off sculptures. You must look good because there is a lot to been seen of old buildings their.

Cute little house and only 1 euro to enter but be prepared for a claustrophobic and cramped space with someone's lifetime collection of dolls and figurines with no rhyme or reason and little historical significance. Only one euro though.

Really interesting experience. From the inside the house does not look so tiny as from the outside. Very nice display of how people used to live in houses like that. The guide speaks only German, but if you don't understand he explains the main points with gestures. No photos inside allowed. Dogs are permitted inside, well at least tiny dogs.
