Definitelly a place worth a visit. Color of the lake is really interesting, whole place is very nice. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near the parking area.

We were just visiting Salzburg and on the way back have made a 20minute detour from the highway, a beautiful place even in winter. Definitely will visit again with my family.

Yes you can rent a boat, kayak or canoe. Or take a. Cruise boat tour wich operates every half hour

Yes . You certainly don’t need to pre book any rides for the lake . You have two options - go until st bartholomew or go until the end of the lake and do a nice walk . The last ferry goes back at 6 pm I think
