Been hiking almost the whole day through the mount at Berchtesgaden and spent an hour trekking around at this amazing hidden lake surrounded by mountains. Love the lake.

We made it with small kids and stroller. The boats are very efficient and well organized. The lake resembles fjord and surrounding area is beautiful. You must make both stations and walk around. One of the best trips in the world!!

Too expensive for what it is and sell you tickets even if you can only stay 10 minutes. No dogs and if then you have to pay and by a special stuff for month and pay 5 euro. Not very polite

We went by boat, perfect nature, really something. I mean this and the Eagles nest is the reason why one visits Berchtesgaden.

Definitelly a place worth a visit. Color of the lake is really interesting, whole place is very nice. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near the parking area.

Yes . You certainly don’t need to pre book any rides for the lake . You have two options - go until st bartholomew or go until the end of the lake and do a nice walk . The last ferry goes back at 6 pm I think
