The Groom's Oak is simply enchanting! A place full of romance and history. We were really pleased with the idea of leaving messages for soulmates in the letter hole. The surrounding nature and the peaceful atmosphere make this place perfect for relaxed walks for two. An absolute must for all romantics!

We were also amazed at how old this tree is. One of the information signs said that the oak and its history goes back over 500 years... just crazy.

Fun fact: The oak is actually married! To a tree that is 500 km away. 500 years = 500km.

We were traveling in Düsseldorf Himmelgeist and found information about the grooms oak there. The bride of oak no longer exists, but she is protected by a tree spirit

A very rare place; if the tree could talk, it would certainly have beautiful stories to tell.
