The thermal bath in Erding is gigantic and offers plenty of activities to easily spend a day or two there. The sauna area is amazing - although the infusion saunas could be hotter! But the different rooms are very beautiful and the pool area is gigantic.

However, the prices are very high (we paid over 100€ for 2 people with the Sauna area) and except the sauna, the whole bath was totally overcrowded.

I last visited in February 2015, and really enjoyed myself. Five years on the prices have barely changed (EUR 46 for a day ticket covering both the spa and the flumes) and food and drink is a similar price to what you'd pay in central Munich.

The summer flumes were brilliant; I loved the skeleton bob chute and the 'half pipe'. The indoor flumes were as good as ever.

TIP: If possible go on a weekday; I've been twice on a Monday and it hasn't been too busy.

Booked a sunday night in hotel victory, we went as a group of 8. The hotel not cheap but our package includes towels and robe, entrance to the spa and around an extra €15pp to use the 2 additional areas, both over 16s only and the sauna paradise no swim wear permitted. It does not mean everyone is walking around naked, only when actually going into the pool or sauna one is naked, walking around with a towel or a robe is a must.
We spent 2 full days there and it was still not enough time to use the full facilities, the wave pool in the family area was really great and as we did not have kids with us we went straight to the adults only area where it was very quiet and relaxing, we 1st went into VitalityOasis area and enjoyed the mineral pools. Before renovation this area was allocated to the textile free area after 6pm now its textiles only the whole time. I would have prefered it the old way where its been allocated to the textile free area because once swim wear is off its very uncomfortable to put on cold and wet swimwear back on for when moving between the 2 areas, it would have been ideal if it was costume optional for the VitalityOasis area then it can be enjoyed by both sections without removing and putting on swimwear all the time.
Therme erding in my opinion is one of the best spas in Europe, and if in munich then must visit. We will definitely be back in near future and hopefully the VitalityOasis will get allocated back to the sauna area in future.

Had a really terrible experience. I used to visit the Therme prior Covid-19 Restriction implementation, and it was a good place to experience. Now, it is not worth the money or time anymore. Not only that many saunas etc. are closed, and only an assorted hand full of options is actually available. The number of people allowed at any given time in any hot cabin (or pool) is so little that you end up with spending your time waiting outside. Also, I noted that the personnel at the check register is now up on selling the worst possible combination of entry ticket, by wrong consultancy/explanation (i won't use the word lie here) that is maximising the cost for the total experience. Rather than stating / disclosing the actual cost for extension of the initially bought option truthfully they encourage customers to go for the seemingly cheaper (and shorter time) option and 'only pay proportionally for the additionally time spent... which turns out to be not true. Instead, they charge full 7 Euro per beginning excess hour per person, which is twice of what it would be when paying upfront. So I got my dose of disappointment and would discourage people from going there in the moment if any other option / alternative is available.

Looked forward in anticipation of a great date at therme erding. We are family of 6 aged 69-13.
But very quickly realised its a money making machine and they don't care about the experience for guests. We arrived at 11am but couldn't find any loungers or seats to sit on. We found one empty cabana and tried to purchase the rental price for it but couldn't find any staff member to do this. We left our towels on the cabana whilst trying to do this but when we come back a member of staff had thrown the towels off and kicked our flip flops away from the area as a member of our family was still there waiting for us. He was not polite and said no it was reserved. He said if we wanted to purchase it we had to wait till 2pm.
Half of the rides were shut and the rides using inflatables were not being manned correctly with staff not taking rings over guests who had just gone down them, meaning new ones queuing up couldn't ride down them without a ring.
There was far too many problems crammed into the area it was ridiculous. Granted its Easter hols but honestly it was like a cattle market.
We decided to leave after 2hours as it was not an enjoyable experience at all. No where to sit, food queues were very long, crowds of people pushing and shining and rude staff. After abit of a battle with 2 members of staff we got a refund and they did agree it was too busy but also said they would often let even more people into the facility.
Such a shame as on a quieter week day not in school holidays I'm sure this place would be great.

We went here to relax and found the whole day exhausting. All the lounge chairs were taken by customers who paid a premium fee to reserve a bed. So we just wandered about for an hour. There were long queues for saunas, slides, drinks, food and the pools themselves were very crowded with pushy people. The music was loud and totally out of place. We brought our own towels to avoid the towel rental fees but spent a fortune on food. Finally we gave up and left early ( before our time slot expired) That was a smart decision because there was another queue for showers. Also, the change rooms were dirty with broken tiles. Sadly, a disappointing day.

Dear guest, Many thanks for your feedback about your last stay at our spa. Much to our regret, your stay was not entirely satisfying. Our thermal spa is especially at the times of vacation a very popular destination. For this reason a lot of families are visiting our thermal spa these days. We recommend a visit on weekdays, outside the time of vacation. Also in the evening hours it is more quiet and less crowded. The cleanliness and hygiene in our spa area has first priority for us. Therefore, the entire thermal spa is checked several times a day by our coached quality management. We are very sorry, that this was not convincing at your stay. Many thanks for your feedback, we really regret, that we could not convince you. We would be pleased if you gave us another chance, Your spa team 🌴💙

Though the park itself was pretty amazing they made us pay 2x our income fee. I had prebooked tickets online by when we arrived they told we booked a print ticket that would arrive by regular mail and we had to pay again the entrance on the spot. They told us we just had to send mail tickets later in and would be reimbursed. We never received print tickets and never got reimbursed, they are not even replying to our emails anymore!

So many things to do! Very fun waterpark. Wouldn’t go here to relax though :) Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good - drinks and food are well priced by American standards, tons of water slides and pool areas, quite nice looking. Sun morning was nice crowd-wise.

Not as great - Slides outside inexplicably closed early and opened late (not posted anywhere), Part of the outside options were not working (communicated at check in), tons of people Sat night.

I went here primarily for the saunas. They have a wide variety of saunas with good themed aufguss. For example beer sauna where alcohol free beer is served, baking sauna where they bake bread in the sauna etc. Several aufguss simultaneously.
Be aware that per wristband you can only purchase 4 alcoholic units per day. If your not European be aware that most saunas are in the textile free area.

Dear guest, Thanks for your great feedback. We are pleased that you had a great stay. As a thermal bath, we see ourselves as a wellness facility with a focus on health and relaxation. For this reason, we have decided to limit the serving of alcoholic drinks to 3 or up to 4 alcoholic drinks for stays longer than five hours. Your thermal spa team 🌴💙

I won’t ever regret the decision I’ve made to spend the New Year’s Eve and the new 2020’s first days ontoTherme’s Erding premises that are absolutely unparalleled.
Spending uncountable hours into their brine, calcium and iodine pools within Vital Oase area as well as numerous saunas ranging from 38 degrees Celsius to over 100, second to none steam rooms and much more yet to be discovered, it’s been the best choice ever made in terms of pure body pampering.
If not yet discovered, I would say to everyone to pack their bags and go there as fast as possible to get the best or nothing, as boring is not what Therme is.
Being inside, in the game, there is nothing to be bored about but to be impressed and blown away by what it the huge offer of everything.
After discovering it on Portocal app which is a travel app committed to providing the best locations worldwide I was found on my third trip to the most undeniably stunning best spa in the world.
I have to say that my mom cried when she left Therme on our last pampering day, so I promised her I’ll make everything I can to buy her a for life membership whether it’s possible.
Needless to say, I recommend Therme Erding with all my heart and Erdinger beer as well 😉
