Erdinger Weißbier does a fantastic tour that holds its own against any other big brewery tour out there. The tour team are incredibly hospitable, friendly, and informative. It's more than worth the trip from Munich and the price of entry. I particularly appreciated the 'welcome...More

I recently won a trip from Erdinger Weißbräu that included a brewery tour (which was this morning, actually). I've been on tons of brewery tours and been to lots of "beer experiences," ranging from a small, family-owned brewery in Belgium that had the family dog...More

We booked a reservation for the English tour a few weeks before and it was great. For 17 Euros, we had all that a beer fan wants. We toured the whole brewery from the 1st phase to the last and we've been explained and told...More

Visited with a group of friends, had a lovely walk around the place visited the gift shop then drank a load of beer at the onsite bar. Lovely relaxed afternoon. Tours need to be booked in advance. Surrounding Erding is lovely little place aswell.

Very good tour covering the history of the brewery and the process of brewing beer. Facility is impressive. We were there on a weekend so the plant was not operating. I think it would be more interesting for many folks to see it in operation....More

Hi, I think the only way you can access their pub is by tour, as the beer and food is included in the tour price. What I can advise is to officially ask them on their contact e-mail address, as well. Good luck!

Erding? (2 Replies)
We are staying in the Erdinger Brewery Hotel for a couple of nights in September and wondered if they offer any form of discounted or indeed free pass to the Therme. I can’t see anything through my searches. We’ve enjoyed benefits like this while staying at other towns throughout Germany so thought it be worth a try. Failing that I think I’ll take on the tour of the brewery as I’ll get this for free with being an Erdinger Fan Member.

Itinerary advise! (4 Replies)
Hi everyone, Me, my husband and our best friend are going to Munich for 8 days (part of a 2 week vacation) for Octoberfest. Can you take a look at the itinerary and give me your opinion? Husband wants the vacation to be as much about Otoberfest as possible so he is concerned we are there only 1 full day. I want to see more then only Octoberfest so I want to sightsee and the best friend likes less touristy/more local events (although Octoberfest is a big thing for him). we have 8 days...More

Which day do you plan to visit the Oktoberfest? I would try to go more days, but from 3PM until the end, not the whole day. So you have time in the morning for sightseeing in the city. And btw, you don't get hangovers from oktoberfest bier, just don't combine it with schnapps.....

Erdinger Brewery (4 Replies)
Hi guys Had a traipse through the internet and the official website etc but cant seem to find contact details (email preferably) for the brewery itself. Erdinger is the favourite beer of the KidsOnTour and is one of the main reasons we chose Munch as a Christmas destination. We wish to undergo a tour in English around the weekend starting the 17th Dec 2010 and presume we should book in advance. Also any people that have experienced the tour the feedback would be most welcome, what can...More
