The Audi museum was part of our visit to Ingolstadt as we also did the factory tour. Even though I consider myself a knowledgeable Audi fan I was able to learn additional historical facts on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave great insights into the history of Audi and additional facts such as the motorcycle and bike... More

We did the Audi factory tour, which takes two hours and needs to be booked in advance but it well worth the effort, special English language tours are available and are taken in small groups through the whole car build experience. If you want to see a state of the art car production line this is a must!

Having owned Audi's for several years I really enjoyed our over2 hours wandering around the museum. I would highly suggest (if you are doing European Delivery of your Audi) to do the following: Day 1: Do the museum Day 2: get your car delivery first thing in the morning, do the factory tour and then eat and drink until closing.... This place is like a walk in time through Audi history. You start at the top and work your way down to the modern cars. They have cars from as far back as 1906 and ones made during the war. They're all gorgeous and so diverse. There is also a car elevator that is pretty dang cool.

The museum is not as the museum of Mercedes or BMW but they give a perfect overview of the history of Audi. The staff is very friendly a extra explanation will be given for whatever question you have.

AUDI Forum Ingolstadt, the museum of Audi is worth a visit. It's not a very large museum but has well preserved cars to see, e.g. a very cool old car in the original condition after it stayed in a desert in Texas for 40 years. It has also new and modern cars. It's especially exciting to see lots of them... More

Not so big to spend too much time there, but is the thing to see in Ingolstadt. 4 levels of classic and cool cars, very well preserved. You can also have a tour in the production line, you just need to buy a car from them and pick it up there.

As a complete Audi nerd this was heaven for me. What a great collection! and presented in the inevitable excellent design we'd expect from Audi (or should I say Auto Union now I've learnt something). I highly recommend getting the English language tour. I would have just wandered around gazing at cars if I'd missed that. The guide was very... More
