Tassili n'Ajjer really blew my mind. I'm surprised it's too popular as travel destination. I just hope it will get more attention because it's really a unique destination. The good thing about the place is it's not too crowded at the moment. Sometimes we camped at the site where nobody else's around. That was amazing experience. Tinariwen Tour is really a great local company. I always tried to find local guide first when I traveled and I'm glad I decided to go with them. Mohammed is really a good guide. He knows the national park really well. In places like Tassili n'Ajjer, you really need guides with great knowledge not only about the place but also about the history of the place. I would really recommend them.

I can not believe that i do not know anyone who visit this place and it is something you have to see, experience and feel! There is nothing similar like Sahara desert. Tadrart national park blew my mind. I totally recommend this place and Tinariwen tours. Mohamed is the kind of person that you want to be with. I traveled like solo traveler - woman. I completely trust him. Everything what he said, it happened exactly like that, everything was clear, he did his best and always insist to give me the service he promised. He speaks great english, is very knowledgeable and very kind person. He adapted to my needs and show me the best spots!! I wish i had more time to be there. I have to repeat this. I just wish that Mohamed use a seatbelt as he is now a good friend for me, and i care:) Thank you for everything!! really

A week's 4x4 tour around the mountain-sized dunes and magnificent canyons of the Tadrart Rouge - this should be on everyone's bucket list, and at the right season isn't even that hot. Mohammed and his assistant were fantastic, they provided superb food apparently from nowhere, entertained me in the evenings with Tuareg songs (accompanied by guitar and drum) and were very knowledgeable about where to find the famous prehistoric rock art. Mohammed even managed to talk some people round at the airport and get me onto an Algerian airlines flight which was, as usual, heavily over-booked. His spoken English is excellent and (like most Tuareg people I've met - they are very welcoming to tourists) he's completely trustworthy. I visited in early March, better to go there in Jan-Feb.
