The ferry goes these same routes and is much cheaper! You can go town to town or skip a few and take the train back.

Ship was comfortable with good size cabins and amenities and cabin and serving staff were efficient and very friendly. However, there were insufficient waiters, meaning long waits to be served - particularly bad when going out on trips! Information about places to be visited was minimal and Cruise Director was appalling. On one occasion, 4 people were nearly left behind... More

We took this tour as part of our larger tour with Globus. It was an enjoyable morning. We saw so many well preserved castles and castle ruins in this short 1 hour trip. The commentary was helpful and there were plenty of types of seating. The boat was very well kept. Definitely a highlight of this part of our tour

This boat is big enough to have a good chance of scoring a table outside to see the view (granted it was a weekday). The cruise stops at many towns along the way, and your ticket allows you to re-embark twice. We chose to have lunch at St. Goar where we had an hour before the boat came back. And... More

This is a beautiful ride...after every 5 minutes there is a beautiful castle! You see pretty quaint villages, stunning wynyards, castles etc. If you are in Frankfurt do visit Bingen and do this cruise...its totally worth it@

We absolutely loved this tour! The boat was so smooth and relaxing, the views were amazing. Where you can see so many castles back to back. One castle was over 1,000 years old. Highly recommend this!

From Frankfurt airport take train to the main station and then take a regional train to Rudesheim platform 24. Don't forget the umlaut when typing the name for your ticket at the station. Boats sail at 10 11 and at 2 .If you have time Rudesheim is pleasant to stroll around . I took the ship to St Goar and... More
