Soellereck is another great place to hike along the many mountain paths in the Allgau/Oberstdorf area. Our family group (2 65+, 2 30s, 2 under-10's) combined: a walk from the cable car station into nearby Austria (with the mandatory foot-in-each photos at the border gate...More

The Allgau coaster down the hill, the cable car up the mountain, the high lines course, a restaurant. Lots to keep a family happy on a sunny day.

Not as big as nearby Fellhorn. But good blue runs for the family. Take the time to get up to the Alpe Schrattenwangen hut. Brilliant rustic feeling to the place. (You have to negotiate one drag to get there - well worth it. )

Been to the ski schools at Sollereck and it's a very good place for families. There are a few ski schools there and it features a few blue runs for beginners to develop their skills.

It was a nice place to spend our last day of holiday. Went on the coaster (ticket was 5 euro/ride), and was able to rent full ski equipment on the spot for a reasonable price (20 euros).

Had a morning here with 3 young kids. Only let my 8 year old go on her own. Works out quite expensive if you do lots of runs. Kletterworld at the top is also a good option

Worth to visit if you are with children, they will enjoy Rodel-Soellereckbahn. It is not very long, but its good for those who never tried it before. My 4 years old son was excited about Rodel-Soellereckbahn. We had to buy more tickets. Notice that you...More
